i chose soccer because football was filled with a bunch of (deleted) who thoguht they were better than they were... guess theyll realise theyre wrong in the next 5 years as their trailers rot away beneath them...

cool cool, i wasn't too sure, hopefully soddy will be stronger this year. i liked the way they played last season, keeping the ball on the floor and holding possession, seemed like all they really needed was to grow up a bit as a defense, because their attack looked really fluid.

didn't they get hammered like 4-1 against Ooltewah last year and Ooltewah only had like 3 contributing seniors?

Ive been affiliated with Ooltewah for years, and used to live basically 2 minutes from Grace, so Ive caught 1 or 2 of your games not against Ooltewah, just cause I had nothing to do, and figured Id go watch a game.

i heard warren county tied soddy 2-2 in a scrimmage, which we all know doesn't really mean anything. And isn't Ooltewah supposed to be down this year? I would hardly count them towards the tough part of your scedule

Ive been hearing since last year about this Daniel Tackling kid. And from the raves he was getting from the alumni of Ooltewah after the alumni game, Im going to expect a special season from him this year.

I see Jeremy Williams as being the best in the East. He takes control of his back 4, and has helped to make soem average defenders look very good. He will be working with his 3rd different sweeper in as many years, and you can be sure the Owls' backline will be just as good if not better, this year. I would rank these players as so: 1.) Williams - Ooltewah 2.) Miller - Notre Dame 3.) Sanchez - Grace That is just for Chattanooga, as I have not seen the Keepers outside of this area.

Heard you boys took down the "alumni" 3-2...haha...Oh and Jeremy, some of the guys' had rave reviews about little Tackling. Keep me posted on the season. I may be heading up there sometime this season, so hook me up with a schedule some time.

I think that Ooltewah has finally turned the corner and learned out to win the close ones, sadly for mcminn fans it came at a really inopportune time for your 'kees. Owls win this one by less than 10, but control the whole game.

well those north georgia schools are taking losses to their ranks too... possibly one reason many of them also won't play the local private schools

i think that's because Temple fans are just as bad as Ooltewah fans... only they have more people talking their team up on here, per capita, than any other school. yeah Ooltewah has plenty but that's from a school of 1600+ ... temple has just as many, with only like -200 students. I don't think anyone concedes the game to Temple, I just think that most of Ooltewah's fans could give a ship, and you know Temples are diehard. I personally wouldn't be suprised if temple brought more fans to the game than Ooltewah does. I still think Temples guys are overrating their own players and underrating Ooltewah's... I say the Owls in this one. They don't roll, because they just aren't that kinda team, but they do win... a close one

dude creative ideas?? im the one who told yall to get the barrel in the first place(yeah that's right my name on here used to be Davinci 22) that was back before ya'lls little spirit group had a name... I told ya'll to go get a road construction barrel and paint it purple or something and wear hard hats and junk. dont know that the hard hats stuck but i know the barrel idea did. I may not like the way yall talk trash but i do at least respect that yall continue to support your teams even though you aren't that good this year. that's the sign of a good spirit section(much like the Daisy Crazies from a couple years ago)Yall are a good section, if not a little misguided in that you seem to have more of an issue with trying to verbally abuse Ooltewah rather than focusing on supporting your team and focusing on whichever team you face that week... by paying so much attention to ooltewah it lowers your credibility as a spirit section. it's alright to get pumped for your big rivalry the week of the game but to carry on when your teams aren't even competing anytime soon is just a bit pointless

Im not saying the kid is bad... What Im saying is that he's just not on that level, Im not on that level, never could have come close, but fact is, even with the parity in college basketball today, there is a difference, in big time players versus guys to fill out the roster, so a team can actually haev a graduation rate. Now caleb might be able to sit in the sec, but not play

You all have no idea what an SEC quality player is... Noone in Chattanooga right now could play SEC ball ... some might get looks because it serves a purpose for schools to check out every player around. Back in 2002 Nick Losh got a "checkin you out" letter from Auburn... could he have actually contributed there?? noway, he knew it, we joked about how he'd love to go there but he knew the only way he'd be there is if they needed someone to raise the teams median GPA. Don't fool yourselves about these kids. Yeah they are good, better than most of us on here, but until you see a real SEC quality player in person, you have no idea. Oh and I live in Gwinnett county(georgia) and have seen the number 1 player in the country, as well as a kid who signed with Georgia Tech, play this season, so don't even waste your time arguing with me on this one.

Ooltewah is better... no doubt about it
