I must be mistaken, but Lamon does not impress me. I have been watching film all week, and he seems slow and very predictable. If he wasn't 6'55'' and could not jump to the moon, he would not even start. His routes are terrible to boot. DB has other recievers that are better than him. Jefferson County's defense stepped up last week, especially in the first half, and besides knowing every play that DB will run before they run it, we also have talent. We will not be hurt by the option. I must say that Jim Hastings is a defensive genius, and he will have an impressive scheme up his sleeve. Our defense will not be the same as the previous games; it is flexible to adjust to anyone. Oh by the way, Lamon will have three on him all night, so you better find another target. Jeff County 36 DB 14 You will be surprised.

I've never pulled for Jeff Co. since. Rudeness makes as much of a lasting impression as does a good football team. I have no recollection of the score, but I remember the rudeness." You must be speaking of the great R.T. Felknor. He is retired now, thank goodness. The Announcer now is John Cagle who is much better

This game promises to be a dogfight; either team has the ability to prevail. The outcome will most likely be based on which team wants it more. If Carson and Houston don't play, then John Huskey and Chris Shiverdecker are both quality backs that will get the job done. Jeff county's passing attack is also underated with the agility of Brown, the quickness of Cantrell, and the sure-handedness of Shane Acuff. If Clement can get the ball to his recievers, then Jeff County has a big night. On the other hand, the Patriots must stop Lamon. The defensive backs of Jefferson County are getting better every week, especially after moving Houston to corner and Pewitt to FS. Although Campbell County is terrible, they do have some talented recievers and an exceptional quarterback, and Jefferson County stopped them through the air all night. If the Patriots have had a weak spot, however, it has been defending the option. Will defensive coordinator Jim Hastings have something up his sleeve? We will all see in a classic Friday night. First of all, I would like to say that this year's game was great on both sides. It has been five years since we have beat West, and I am really happy that we finally did. However, I am disapointed by the ending. I can tell you that Jefferson County football is a class act just as Scott Meadows is. Oh, by the way, you probably let your kid play for him, whoever said that. Anyway, from the Jefferson County sideline, NO ONE could tell that a "fight" had broken out. After all, how many teams run out onto the field to fight while jumping up and down. Of course the coaches were holding us back; we thought that they didn't want us to get a penalty. If a Jeff county player wasn't on the field, then he did not know what was going on. I personally didn't find out that Scooter and Arron were ejected until I was back in the locker room. Oh yeah... on the ejection. If Scoot did what he said he did, then he will be playing next week. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding and have the utmost respect for West and their fans. Good luck
