Centennial was winnning 21-14 at half and then just fell apart in the second half. They had a 4th and ten with about 45 seconds left and coach gregory called a pass play that gave the Cougars maybe 5 yards, so what else is new......Clarksville had a great second half, congrats guys.

The truth is Riverdale is very very good, and they'd beat 95% of teams in this state 9 out of 10 times. They are beatable, but i think a lot of beating this team is luck of them making mistakes. The answer, otherwords, is the one team that could beat Riverdale is....well....Riverdale.

I usually agree with you about Centennial, but they straight out beat Ravenwood when they played them, I don't care if Ravenwood has seven dimensions, they couldn't beat the cougars.

I'm in their marching band, i was one of the 4 trombones on the field. We made that up with 6 minutes left before half. We figured we might as well make people laugh since it was a miserable night. We had fun!! I think it's silly that one of our coaches would post on a board telling someone to stop saying they are bad. That's like a player coming on here to do the same. Nonsense.

That IS what Franklin has done for the last two years, and though I am a HUGE Centennial fan, I have to say that 10 in the box with even a decent defense will shut them down. The 21st Century is here, and high school football in tennessee has seen an evolution of the quarterback; its called throwing the football well. I promise you that it will catch up to Centennial, and I'll hate the day it does.

So much for those who predicted Ravenwood to beat the Cougars, this one wasn't even close, the score may indicate it was, but Centennial was leading 30-13 at one point and had the ball on the Ravenwood two and fumbled, no problem for centennial.

No one contends that Centennial won't be able to move the ball even with one dimension, the question is can their defense stop other people from moving the ball on them?

I agree with Bulldog. Centennial runs, runs and runs more. Then no one is suprised when an interception is thrown, since the quarterback hasn't thrown a pass all game. Coaching needs to improve, defense needs to improve. The running game is good, but when thats all you have, it had better be good. Can they beat BGA? Yes. Will they? I guess we'll see.

I think Curtis Steele is a sufficient quick back. If you don't believe me, ask last years kickoff team for BA. I guess we'll find out tomorrow!!

This game will either be a close Centennial win or a BA blowout. It all depends on how Centennial reacts when BA scores, if they just give up, this game won't be close. I'll give the benefit of the doubt to Centennial. Centennial 27 BA 21

Who does everyone think will win this game between the Eagles and Cougars?

Centennial could win any of the 5 games. I'll agree that this is the year they take out Brentwood, as well as Dickson Co. I also think they get a win against BGA. The Franklin game is unpredictable, so who knows. I just want the BA game to get here. Ahhh, football. And while we're on the subject of Bates, it's time to be the center of the two sides: Bates was a player with more heart than anyone else I know, and while he wasn't a flash RB, he was total power, which made him a heck of a back. As far as linebacking goes, he was the soul of the Defense, and he will be missed on defense. But he wasnt the whole team.

Will Dumke be able to play opening day? I wanted to go to this scrimmage, but i didn't get a chance to. What time is the scrimmage against Clarksville NW? Also, who are the predicted starters for the Cougars?
