  1. To Brentwood. What are you smoking? It must be real good because there is no way Brentwood will beat Dickson County by more than three touchdowns, unless DC sends their Jr. High team, and still they could possibly only win by 10 points. I look for DC to win a close one and travel onto Franklin undefeated.
  2. Coming from a former Cougar who lost one of the few homecomings that Dickson has lost, I think the Cougars will primed and ready for the challenge. I would like to see my hometown boys win in a landslide, but in the words of Al Davis: "Just Win Baby".
  3. Dickson County versus Whites Creek in the 88 playoffs. Whites Creek's Shelton Quarles goes back to field a punt a Mr. Football Jeffery Vaughn seperatess him from his helment. Headgear lands about ten yards down field as Quarles lays on the ground. It's a shame that Vaughn got himself into trouble because he probably could have ended up like Quarles in the pros somewhere.
  4. I hav not got the chance to see Brentwood yet, but the Dickson crowd should be hyped and ready to explode. I'm going to stick with my home team from Dickson County. DC 34 BR 27 C-O-U-G-A-R-S COUGARS! COUGARS! COUGARS! :justwrestle:
  5. I don['t know much about Centennial, but I do know that DC has one of the most balanced offenses I have seen in some time. Defensively, there big MLB Quinton Primm is a monster. He may not be very tall but he has a sense of being always around the ball. Once he hits you, you may get up saying thank you sir may I have another. A little animal house humor goes along ways. Dickson County - 38 Centennail - 13
  6. Redrage, Just because you don't care does not speek for all of us. If you can't use positive words don't use any.
  7. Camden Jr. High in west TN is still on the winning track that was left by Jammy McCloud. With assistants like Stacy Baker a coach can surely thrive on winning. Besides football Coach Baker is one of the most talented high school softball coaches around. His high school girls should be ready for another run at the state tournament. He is loaded.
  8. Still looking for any word on the injury to DC RB Eric Brommel. He went down against Henry County with a knee problem.

    injury

Has anyone heard the status of DC RB Eric Brommel? He hurt his knee against Henry County. He is a very hard runner and a good college prospect. Very strong in a small package.
  10. I hate to say this but I believe DC will win easily. To much horsepower through the air and on the ground for the Patriots to keep in check. I believe the Cougars are a top 5 team in the state.
  11. Can anyone tell me how Dekalb County has fared since their first game against Clay Co.? They looked really good that night. I heard that they have some new assisstant in there that are eager to produce a good program. I wish them all the luck in the world. Whooooommmp!
  12. As a junior high coach going into some of the high school stadiums in middle Tennessee, I would say that Lewis County has one of the best setups that I have seen. The field at Wavrely Central High School is as close to a great field as anyone in their area.
  13. What a weekend! Dickson County did what I knew they could do, the Vols pull one out in overtime, and Alabama loses. It doesn't get any better than this. Can't wait until this Friday night so I can get down to watch my alma mater play the Patriots of Henry County. Go DC! I wish you all the luck for the rest of the season. C-O-U-G-A-R-S COUGARS COUGARS COUGARS P.S. Cody Sugg if you are out there I hope you get some quality playing time soon.
  14. Dickson County @ Riverdale It doesn't get better than this in high school football! Two of the top programs in the state facing off in a great battle. Two great coaches and coaching staffs preparing their men for battle and then turning them loose on the field. I hope its a great game and the orange and blue of DC pull it out. GO COUGARS!
  15. Just like the Vols took care of those reptilians I think the Cougars will take care of the warriors. Don't get me wrong though it will be a tough battle, but I like what I see out of this D.C. team. Once a cougar, always a cougar. Ah! D.C. coach75
