  1. You've been making some good posts throughout the playoffs but now your crazy, old man stuff has come out again. You quoted your local hometown rag paper again like it is the Bible. You did the same thing in 2019. Get some new material pops. You are the same guy who cursed our boys after the game in 2019. You made fun of their names on the air. You talked about your own coach like he was an outlaw. You, sir, are no true high school football fan. An adult does not talk about boys and coaches the way you do. Our boys will give you some new material Friday night, so you can whine for another year or two.
  2. I agree Vandy, it will be a hard fought game.
  3. Right, Forrest will take advantage of that bigtime.
  4. I think it will be a tight one up on that cold, windy Chapel Hill - something like Riverside 24 - Forrest 14. Forrest is always tough at home in November.
  5. You just want to see Frostie shock the world.
  6. Who is it going to be? The Rebel Rockets or the River Rats?
  7. Summertown visits the swamp for the first time in decades. Riverside by 14 in a good game.
  8. If anybody wants to see a good high school football show, tune in to Facebook live The News Leader in Parsons, for Frostie's show, as interviewed by the BigPun54. It's recorded. You might be interested in watching it the week you play Frostie's River Rats.
  9. Big Swo, I haven't always agreed with you but I've always enjoyed your posts. Thanks for having the class to tell all farewell.
  10. We're not talking other sports right now. We're talking football. All sports are important, but football is the most important to the folks in this part of the state, period.
  11. I'm amazed at how Riverside has improved since the Lexington game in week two.
  12. How will Summertown do at the swamp? Have they ever been there before?
  13. Next week should be good, Rocket Rebels v. Sharp's Panthers and Summertown v. my River Rats. I've never seen Summertown's football team. Looking fwd to it.
  14. Sad for Loretto - been on that side of the board before. Maybe Frostie will be able to let the young cats in for the second half Some of those frosh need a dose of playoff game.
  15. Frostie's boys hot out of the gate tonight.
  16. Agreed. They have improved considerably since mid season.
  17. A few years ago they did the same thing, and slipped up on Camden and knocked them out in the 2nd round. Gotta watch them; they are potentially dangerous.
  18. Good job on announcing the game Big Pun and Luke. Hoping RHS can start rolling in the playoffs now.
  19. Me too Big Purple. Sharp has been around for years and so has his good teams. I'm tipping my hat to him as well. Props also to Johnnie Frost. He is one of the most underated coaches in the state. His record is lesser because he started a football program at a middle Tennessee school that had never fielded a team, then he went to a place that had lost for a long time. He has worked hard at Riverside, and doesn't get a lot of press this far out from the bright lights of Jackson and Nashville. But he gets a lot of respect from the coaches he goes against, and that is some of the best praise. Sometimes they don't even put our scores up on Jackson and Nashville sports news shows, but that's o.k. People who know high school football know Riverside is a quality football school. If you can't get to our game tonight, you can watch it free on [Facebook TNL Parsons]. Big Pun 54 and Double L Luke Lewis will be broadcasting.
  20. Looking forward to seeing Coaches Sharp, White, and Yeisler too.
  21. A couple of years ago, Riverside was playing Peabody in the semi-final at Riverside's swamp. Several Lewis Co. fans came over and cheered like heck for our boys. There were a couple of Lewis Co. loggers that just about got in a fight with a group from Peabody.
  22. I think you are right. LC v. RHS is always a good battle and I don't see anything less this year. I hope ya'll bring a crowd. Our baseball team is having a chili supper in the jr. high lunchroom next to the field - $6. Get over here a little early and eat some chili while you are missing senior night activities.
  23. I wasn't there but people say UC wasn't too impressive against Camden Central. Maybe they just had a bad night. Huntingdon by 24.
