First time in many weeks that Riverdale will not be battling the conditions of the field. G town should get to see just how FAST the Warriors truly are. I expect a great game, RHS will not run away with this one.

Britton is from W Co - -is that correct?? That could explain why his name is at the top of their list. Snow is from there also correct. Tell the folks in W Co they can find Ray Barnes @ Blackman Middle (Asst Principal) GREAT COACH!!!! Maybe he would help revive the program. I think he still has family there.

Does Britton have a gripe @ RHS?? The kids love him! And from what I have seen he is a great coach, one I would hate to lose.

tickets are $10 havent seen a package either if you purchase at one of the participating schools, school gets $5 Otherwise $1 is what I have heard

Your second point is well taken. But ask the programs and they are glad their fan base will take time out to defend it.

You are allowed to have an opinion and I respect your opinion. I was just trying to explain my thoughts on the situation. I think people forget that these are young people and they will make mistakes from time to time. The posturing before the game Friday night isnt bad for the game. You sound as if you know about the time spent by these coaches preparing these teams each week. (God bless them, their poor wives and their famliles) It is a true commitment on their part to do what they do and help us mold our future generation. If you are an OR fan I am sure your head is held high today. I will be the first to admit if I see one of our kids out of line. G Rankin isnt going to put up with it either. But you have to let them walk right up next to that line "swagger" without crossing it " unsportsmanlike"

crazygal - I have to agreed with limbaugh (occasional fan, Mom or Grandma) Please remember these are 16 - 17 & 18 young MEN in probably the biggest sporting event they have ever participated in their lives. Maybe some adrealine flowing (both sides)??? It is all part of the pagentry of high school atheltics. There were no punches thrown - the two teams were sizing each other up like two heavyweight boxers - so please explain to me the unsportsmanlike comment. I agree there is a line during ballgames and I saw no one on either side do anything to embarass themselves or their team. OR is a great program and I hope your underclassmen build on this game. I would love to witness your kids walk into our place with "swagger" and play their hearts out next year. It was a great high school football game - lets all focus on that!!!!! Limbaugh you are also correct on the goal line call - -we discussed it on the way back and I am just glad I did not have to make the call. Go Riverdale We will all be their to support you

The Riverdale freshman are struggling this year. They lack the quality tailback that Riverdale is accustom to having, but I would stop short of saying that they are not very good.
