Jeremiah started rb as a freshman. Kirk Embry is the QBs coach at smyrna and he is not leaving. He is the head coach in waiting. The coach there has promised him the job. (he just better hope that the current coach doesn't pull a paterno on him) so Embry is out. Lets talk about who is applying.

It's real simple! Coach Perry saw that players were disappearing in Portland. So, he moved on! It's funny because people didn't like him because he was mean! (LOL) Now as a community all we due is talk about him and how he won. Coach Bever worked under Coach Perry and continued many of the same traditions that Portland Football was about. Why did Coach Bever not win? The same reason why Coach Perry left! Talent. NO WAY any coach will win in Portland (Quarles, Rankin, or Joe Montana)! Maybe if they dropped to 1-A. So this tread was started about what happen to Portland football. TALENT! Coaching was strong with Coach Bever's staff and they were lucky to win 5 Games because of coaching alone. Instead of starting a tread and blaming and wondering why we don't win anymore GO WATCH A GAME!!!

The Smyrna High School Quarterback Club and football coaching staff would like to invite the public and staff to the First Annual Smyrna High School Football Spaghetti Supper and Auction on Saturday, May 2. The event will include all you can eat spaghetti, live and silent auctions including door prizes. Items we have already secured for the auction include a game worn Titans football helmet autographed by Kyle Vanden Bosch, 2 footballs autographed by Kyle Vanden Bosch, Vanderbilt helmet autographed by Jay Cutler, hockey stick signed by entire Nashville Predators team, items for your home, plants, and gift certificates, just to name a few. That would be great... But I hear there is a family out west in Cal. that really wants to relocate to Portland. I heard he was a cousin of a coach from Hillsboro. I stand by my statement: Portland needs Chase Brooks. He woul d be so good for them.
