Rumor is McMinn got a new junior who is pretty dang good..think her name is like Allison Wagner..or something like that. Hear shes pretty good with that three point shot and pretty strong down low. Should be someone to watch this season

I understand what you are saying. Amy has had a great 1st year with the Lady Cherokees. And yes she has the potential to break the girls AND boys scoring records. But as Jared Price would say, it takes the whole team to score. He could not do it alone. Thanks for the kind words and please continue to support the Lady Cherokees

Sounds to me like these teams wanted attention for what reason..I dont know..but thats the first thing that popped into my head. Kinda like when Rhea County outlawed Gays or whatever..just a small city wanting attention..but thats just my opinion...

Ill agree that those McMinn girls are pretty good. McMinn girls will dominate in 2 years.. But whats up with Leah Frazier never shootin the 3..cuz she gets the opportunity a lot..but never takes it..

If the sources are correct..then I just found out that CHS is out for snow tomorrow. Will this effect the tournament in anyway? I need to know ASAP

Im not gunna sit here and say McMinn's student section is the best..because sometimes we get boring..but Thursday night there were about 12 of us who went to the Ootlewah game..and we were louder than Ootlewahs section. They all just kinda sat there...and stared at us? So..all of you that are saying that Ootlewahs student section is great..needa take another look..cuz yall just flat out stink

Does anyone have the score of this game yet? I heard that it might not have been played due to weather and the game would be put off until tomorrow. Just let me know.

I think that Andrew Kimball should definitely be on this list. In every game Ive ever seen him play (and Ive seen him quite a bit) he ALWAYS gives his all...no matter what. That kid never gives up on anything out there. He has good foot skills and has scored quite a few this year. He also gets back to help out his defense all the time. Hes just an all around great player.

McMinn should have a very good team this year. Brandon Armstrong may not be the ideal goalie replacing Zac Brown, but with the defense of Santiago Snellgrose, Ben Johnson, Robert Axley and Pat Hinshaw, it shouldnt really make all that much of a difference. McMinn has already beaten Baylor 2-1. Baylor was one of the top teams last year in the state I do believe. Bearden has a young team this year which could very much hurt them and is most likely to. Everyone is talking them up to be the best again but no one is looking at what they have or what they lost. McMinn's offense is also returning this year. Up front they have Jared Price who scored 36 goals last year in the season along with Andy Slack and Nick Shaver who are both very good players also and are expected to score a lot along side Price. Dont doubt McMinn's team this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they made it to state semis! Go Tribe!
