Mcminn wins 2-1, but both teams played very well. Andy Slack and someone(sorry don't remember who) scored for mcminn and jorge rocha scored for cleveland.. Kyle Kirchem and the whole D unit of cleveland played a great game. Congrats to both teams.

I play for Cleveland and i think it will be a good game but i wouldn't count Cleveland out. They are missing several players to injury: stephen brocato, brian goodner, stephen jackson, and ryne mcclurkan. I think Cleveland will have to play hard and physical to stand a chance against Mcminn.. Good Luck

Yeah, i play for Cleveland and we are alright. We are weak in some areas but we are working on it. I think we will do alright this season, but who knows.. All our coachs know to make us do is RUN RUN RUN and RUN somemore, but oh well it will all work out in the in. Good Luck to all.

Mcminn doesn't play sweetwater in that scrimmage.. They play Kingston for their 1st game, Lenoir City for there 2nd game, and Gibbs for there final game.

Yes, McMinn is a good team and they have some good players, but they have no where near the talent or skill needed to win their sub-state game or state game. Yes they are the best team in their district and region, but they are in probably the weakest district. That is why they are able to play the long ball and run onto it just cause they are a faster team then most of the high school teams around here, and most of the high school defenses don't know how to stop it. Once they get into sub-state and state if they make it, they will get destroyed just because those teams know how to defend the long ball. Ok, i play for Cleveland(David Reaves #10) and we beat them 5-2.. The only goals they scored on us was on our JV team. They are not a very strong team, but they do have a good work ethic. They try to play dirty, but that doesn't help them in the slightest bit. The Cleveland team is not that strong, but we can get some things working for us. I believe that Sweetwater will get better as the season progresses, but i don't believe they will have a chance to win district or too many games for that matter. Good Luck though.

Ok, i have to say that staynskool did make a great point and whoever said that Jared Price is good at scoring is correct but not against good teams. They had no competition last season, but when they did have a challenge against Farragut i believe the score was 8-0 so obviously he isn't going to score on everyone. It all comes down to the strength of schedule. So don't try to say that he is going to score on Farragut or Bearden or any of those teams until they actually play them. We will see.
