FCS by 30?? this coming from a guy who thought Unaka would win the state shampionship and that every game in the playoffs would have at least 7 overtimes...Give me a break you are a joke.

I just wanted to let you know that Unaka was never the favorite to win anything...they made a lot of progress this year and I think everyone commends them for that...but they were never a favorite to win the 1A State Championship

well spoken Antwan....and in years past FCS has relied on the big play to get them points...it will be hard to stop the big play becasue FCS does have a high-powered offense....however I do not think the score willk be as lop-sided as llast time.....Gordonsville is coming off of a big win against Arch Rival South Pittsburgh...Good luck to the tigers!

the T$$AA has to get their money....thats all they care about...thats why there are 32 teams in the playoffs for each D1 classification.......i love it when there is a big crowd turnout!!

It depends on which team shows up...if they play like they did against Upperman(which I know the weather played a factor) then they will get killed, if they play well like they have against portland, then they can makle it four straight wins against portlans in 2 years...Good luck to the Owls on friday night

How was the crowd at the Gordonsville/South Pitt game?? I didn't get to make it, I am thinking there is going to be ah uge crowd at the Gordonsville/FCS game on friday, I will be there for that one between inter-region rivals, but 2 games that will really have BIG crowds this wekk will definitely have to be TC@LA and Portland@SC......both games of these teams were very close in the regular season......these will be 2 great games!

the owls got the big win tonight, and next week will be the highly anticipated rematch of week 10.....i'd go to that one if Gordonsville weren't playing, but gotta root for the Alma Mater......FCS is beatable....but you can not allow the big play to happen...that will be easier said than done....good luck to both Carthage and Gordonsville this week, may both teams be successful!

well it looks as if Gordonsville will likely play FCS once again....not sure if it is a final in Lebanon yet or not.....congrats Tibers...way to go out there and get hte job done!!!!!

i heard that freshman smith kid is pretty good....my momma told me he is a heck of an athlete.....

it wil be a tough game for both squads...it is pretty much evenly matched up....are you going Cheesecake?? this is probably going to be the best game in 1a football come tomorrow, anybody know of any bigger ones?

FCS better not overlook week two when they play Gordonsville/Sp....if u prevent yhe big play, the n FCS is nothing, they are not a 10-12 play drive team, it is tough to bet a team twice in the same season, and SP always plays tough as well as Gordonsville, as for boyd..they will walk away with a nother state title without breaking a sweat

Friendship is a big play team...thats hpw they racked up so many points against Gordonsville, bot h Gordonsville and SP are capable of beating FC.....as for D-ray's stats, i havent been to a single game, i have been working alot. I heard that there was a pretty good freshman starter, but thats about it, i will be at this game though!!!

i think Monterey wins this one....region 3 could be swept on friday by region 4 this year with the exception of Boyd...b/c they wont lose the rest of the season, the BEST game this week between these two regions, IN FACT, I WILL SAY IT WILL BE THE BEST GAME IN 1A FOOTBALL THIS WEEKEND, has to be Gordonsville and South Pitt. that one is really troo close to call, as for Monterey and WHitwell, Monterey takes this one by 10

i hope Gordonsville can pull it off, we have seen some great games from these two teams in the past it is unreal....i beleive if our defense can slow down the tempo of the game and take away the speed of SP, then we have a shot, but like always.....SPEED KILLS!!!!

what did u base your pick on by picking South Pittsburgh over Gordonsville and also picking Unaka over Coalfield??

Coafield wins....Unaka is probably the MOST overrated team in the state, their 8-2 record is very decieving!!

are we expecting another great environment like SP/G-ville gmaes of the past?? that is unheard of for SP to throw that much.....do they not just have the personell to run the ball?`

hey swanson, sorry RBS had another tough year...I would like to see them get into the play-offs every once in a while....maybe things will change up there.

I am in awe still by him picking all of these games to have multiple overtimes, and also that Unaka will finish as state champions?? didn't they get beat by a very bad cloudland team? that one dude is right, they will be lucky to get out of the first round.
