how has SP played this season, sometimes a record can be very deceiving

yeah...Beene Coliseum is a very hostile evironment, how many fans are gonna be there?? there was alot in 2001.

Gordonsville and South Pitt. have always put on some good shows in the past except for last year, when it was "The South Pittsburgh Pirates Show" with your host Ron Cook!!! I am doubting another 52-6 fiasco like last year, I am expecting this one to be a nailbiter like in 2001 and 2002

Are you implying that gordonsville is a weak team?? Gordonsville is a strong program filled with tradition as does South Pitt, SP has a class act program, and may be down this year, but will be back up again......Gordonsville may have went 5-5 this year, but they will be ba ck in the mix.....i wish the best of ya'll luck beating the privates, i know good and well ya'll are happy to see them leave as well as I am.....but SP has never showed anyone but respect I know we here at Gordonsville respect them very well.....and have never shown us but class!

thats all everyone has to say?? come on people...i believe this one will be a close game as it was in 2001 and 2002, these 2 teams have alternated wins the past four years, and its G-villes turn to win, I sure hope we can pull it off and have a shot at FCS again!!!

Well this will be the fourth year in a row that South Pitt. and Gordonsville have met up.....both teams are way down from past years....which team has the edge?? Do the tigers have a chance against the pirates, I know Coach Dillard will have the Tigers ready and I know Coach Grider will the pirates read. any more updates,m i heard a little bit of it on the radio saying it was 35-0 start of 4th quarter, but i get crappy reception since i am in nashville

What is wrong with broadcasting Gordonsville's game instead of Carhtages?? THey get enough spot-light since they are the almighty Smith COunty High School

Region 3 would not qualify as crappy, yes they do have the lower rank teams as like Lookout Valley and Copper Basin...but SP and WHitwell are down this year....both teams will be back up next year I do believe, but they wont have boyd next year, I can almost hear the sigh of relief from these 2 teams knowing they wont have to deal with Boyd next year.

Yeah...Smith County is a football county, not much room for basketball but then again...TN is a football state...not too many other sports matter to us.... No I didn't move from RBS...I moved from Texas! I get mad at people like you with your attitude!! I apologize to everyone from RBS...I should not have made that comment. I don't care what my friends think and could care less what you think. I was on the team for only 2 years, and was never given a chance to start the way I see it. And by the way..I never said that I was a great football player....and to sleep23...if you knew anything.....football is a TEAM sport...you can't win with just defencse and no offense, and I think I recall a recent score of 30-6 at the half, doesn't seem like much a defensive effort in my book!! So do us all a favor and stay on the basketball boards!!

seems like region 4-3a is messed up once again this year...has it always been this confusing?? But anyways., all Carthage has to do is worry about beating Portland, and if the happens, then ya'll will be region champs. Good Luck friday night!

Watertown can't finish ahead of Gordonsville can they, if Watertown were to beat Monterey, then they would still have 2 region losses, like Gordonsville would, if they beat Celina...and Gordonsville would hold the tie- breaker since they beat Watertown...correct?

g-ville can't be put out of the playoff picture now....even if Monterey loses to Watertown and Gordonsville loses to Celina...(which will not happen) they will still be in.

I wouldl ike to see Celina get into the play-offs, but you are not going to beat Gordonsville two years in a row.

Well yeah u do have a point, but they ARE not the best team in the nation, Auburn is at least a TD better than them, and I truly believe UT is better than them, and the SEC Championship game(provided both Auburn and UT get therea) will be a lot closer than 34-6, but just watch out for my commodores, UT overlooked Ole Miss and almost got beat, look at twhat happened to UF today...my commodores will give UT a run for they money, they usually play UT close, but not always, but I do wish UT the best of luck and hope they win Nat'l, I take pride in that just because I am a Tennessean!
