  1. I'm a little confused. Why is a score from an OH playoff game being reported on a TN football website. It's o.k. by me, though. I would've gone to Kilbourne had I not moved to TN.
  2. yeah, Mosby was non-existent against that weak Brentwood team and G'town (granted they are a little weaker this year, but G'town is G'town-- always well coached and always a solid team) He didn't do much at all, except make 8 tackles and lead the team in receiving against Brentwood, and make 8 tackles (2 TFL and 1 sack) and catch 2 passes for 89 yards and a TD against G'town.... You should know what you're talking about before making bold statements like Mosby not showing up against stong opponents. Btw, Brentwood didn't win the game, CBHS lost it w/ 5 f'n turnovers and being way too cocky. I don't care who it is, if a team makes 5 TO's, there's about a 95% chance they lose. Man, I wish we could play y'all again.
  3. It's probably William or Croce. They both post on here and are big notre dame fans.
  4. A guy that plays lacrosse. Who are you? Btw, I don't mean to sound like an smart@$$ but I don't feel like posting my name on a freaking message board.
  5. I know you're not asking me, but, yeah, he's walking on there. Well, at least that what Br. Robert said, and I'm pretty sure he knows what he's talking about. Hey, Kevin, any chance your brother comes back to CBHS? When I found out he left, I was mad. I hope he comes back. And for any mods on here: Why can't you write the word "Pi$sed"? It changes it to "Upset". That's rediculous. That's not even a bad word, and everyone that reads this board has got to be old enough to have heard curse words before.
  6. I am surprised that no one has mentioned Tom Nix Stadium. It's CBHS' stadium. Built in '94, i think. Very nice. The actual playing field is just awesome too. Much better than MUS, MBA, or McCallie, and yes, I have played on all those fields and none are even close to CBHS' practice fields, yet alone the main stadium's field.
  7. Chris Mosby from CBHS is gonna be awesome this year! Watch out for Henry Harris, too; this guy was great last year before gettin hurt... Also, Cassius Vaughn from Memphis East is gonna be awesome, too!
  8. Sounds good to me! I guess just b/c CBHS is an all guys school that we're all gay. Well, there is a sister school to us, St. Agnes Academy. That's where we get our girls. Actually, a lot of private schools in Memphis are not co-ed. i.e. CBHS, MUS, Hutchison, St. Agnes, St. Mary's, etc.
  9. What exactly do we all "know" happened to CBHS when they played MBA? They lost in a very, very close game. You make it sound as if CBHS was supposed to be close to being in the top 25 in the nation, and then got killed by MBA. I just wish that CBHS hadn't had their starting RB out for the MBA game this year b/c he would have made a big difference, IMO. CBHS's RB has incredible speed and is very elusive. But, he tore his MCL and won't be back for the rest of the year. Just imagine if MBA didn't have Koban in the CBHS game this year, and they had to use their back-up RB. Do y'all still think that MBA would have won the CBHS-MBA game this year? I don't! Koban was the difference in that game.
  10. In an earlier post on this thread, I read that CBHS's 2 starting CB's(Harris and Seguin) would be back by the playoffs, but I heard that from one of the trainers that Harris might be back by the playoffs and that Seguin has no chance to be back. I was just wondering if I am wrong here(maybe I misunderstood the trainer that told me this), and are both guys going to be back for sure?
  11. I was at the game and the offensive pass interference call on MBA was a good call by the refs. The CBHS DB had good coverage on the reciever, and probably would have deflected the pass had the MBA guy not pushed off. Anyway, I just hope that we'll play again for the championship in the playoffs, and hopefully, CBHS will have their best skill position player back(Harris, who starts at RB and CB) and some other players with some nagging injuries will be healthy again.
  12. whoa, now i would have to disagree with you there. My brother played on those '98 and '99 teams that you called dirty, and I don't remember them being dirty at all. Now, CBHS may have used to have some big hitters and they may have been very agressive, but I wouldn't call that being "dirty." And, I play on the CBHS lacrosse team now, and we do have a couple of hot heads that start to start talking trash and stuff when we're losing, but then again, what team doesn't have some hotheads on their team? By the way, how's MBA's lacrosse team looking this year?
  13. Whoever said in a previous reply to this post that CBHS has annoying fans, or something like that, I want to know what experience you had with a CBHS fan that makes you think that, or did u just say that to try to get some CBHS fan mad.
  14. haha, that's the worst prediction of any game that i've ever heard. There's no way in heck that CBHS will allow 56 points in a game. The total amount of points that CBHS has allowed ALL YEAR is 50, and all of the teams we've played (except maybe Briarcrest) are top rated teams in the state.
  15. I agree that this will be a great game. I've been waiting for this game since the CBHS-Germantown game that CBHS won. I've got a question for you MBA fans out there: Does MBA have a lot of speed on their team this year, or are they more of a power team, or a little bit of both? And, if they do have some pretty fast guys, what positions do they play?
  16. Chris Mosby, a sophmore from Christian Brothers High School, is a stud! He's probably not the best LB in the state, but he's a darn good one. He's 6'2'', 215 lbs., and runs a 4.5 40-yard dash. I can't wait until he's a senior... he'll probably be bigger, faster, and better.
  17. Well, CBHS did win, but it wasn't "a close one." The Purple Wave won 24-0, and totally dominated ECS. CBHS's starting defense only gave up 64 yards of total offense, but CBHS put all their back-ups in at the start of the 4th quarter so ECS gained about 65 more yards of total offense before the game was over. The only bad thing, however, is that CBHS's star RB, Henry Harris, suffered a badly torn PCL, and will be out for the rest of the year, and into some of next year before he can play again. This is a huge blow for the team, but they still beat Melrose without Harris playing much since he didn't even get a rush attempt until the 2nd game of the season. It wasn't until the 5th game of the year until Harris got his first start, but he still had plenty of playing time in the previous 3 games. He gave CBHS another dimension to their offense that was in need of speed, but Jeremy Finney(backup RB) played very well against ECS, and showed bursts of speed(he had TD runs of 17 and 25 yards).
