MC didn't cheat to win the game. There will be no convincing you as there will be no convincing me. Sets went off before second quarter. Regarding sideline reciever, I know you are very knowledgable about HS football, but again I would need to read that in a rule book. Enough on that There is no way I got that out of his comment. In my mind he was either talking about the current QB or Carter. Once again, I did not really care for CC, but I figured as centered as the town is around the football team, and the success of that particular team, I was suprised that he didn't get props on the T when he died or in this thread. Your relative play on that team on that field? He was not involved in any way with that game if that is what you were told. Second Hand information is never as good as first person experience. You mean that the offensive team, at that time, could line up a reciever behind a side judge? Even if the kid is 12 inches on the playing field with the coaches arm around his shoulders, he can LEGALY go out for a pass??? I would have to read that in print before I believed it, regardless of who SAID it. By the way that is what the MC film of that game shows Rankin doing. Besides I don't have to think MC could have beaten that SC team. I just have to look at your record book to know that it is true!!!!!

Down late in the game with the ball on about their own 45, Rankin tries to sneak in a reciever behind the official and throw to him deep. Suprise!!! Pass was completed for seeming go ahead TD???? Only problem was the official remembered there was no reciever on that side of the field when the play started. So who was cheating???? Hum??? I remember MC coach, who was friend of Rankin, telling my dad that they turned off all communication devises sometime in first quarter. So what real advantage gained???? Finally I respect your opinion about that 85 team not even being best of their decade. It is the only one I remember. However I beleive you would know more about the SC program and its history than I. Well MaHOWNey started off season really slow in Cookville yesterday. Team looked much stronger than last year. If they improve 3-5, whew watch out. Mabye MaHOWNey is starting to rub off???!?!?!!!

That is good to hear. SC mafia should take him under their wings and bring him up in the family business. What about the 85' SC team? I think they advanced to semi-finals, I think. QB of that team has passed away in last year or so. I was kindof supprised that some of the mafia at least did not acknowledge it. P.S. Macon County beat that team in '85 in the hole!!!!!

Well I have the 411 on the budding superstar, MaHOWNey. He didn't hurt himself running up a hill. He has injured his back when a XC teammate knocked him off the couch while they were playing FIFA 2000 on an XBox 360. Not that it matters, but he also sprained a finger too. Do not know how this will effect his running??? How long??? How much to train??? His XBox gaming ability???

I have to make a delivery up to MC today, I have a friend who knows MaHOWNey real well. I will get to the bottom of this injury stuff. What if he can't run for most of the season????
