  1. Anna Trull should be considered as much as anyone else. Being from 1A McKenzie won 't help, but she still is a great player. Last week, she surpassed 2000 points in her career. About half of those points came when McKenzie was in the AA classification. Not only can she score, she sees the floor well, makes great passes, plays aggressive defense, makes steals and rebounds. Most schools run their defense to try to stop her. Last night against West Carroll, for first place in the district race, she had a double double - 21 points and over 10 rebounds. In addition, she is a honor student and a person of great character. Sounds like Miss Basketball stuff to me.
  2. Anna, We've watched you play the last 4 years in mckenzie and you are a great player. You ALWAYS give 100% out there and you're lots of fun to watch. We've seen how coaches try to stop you and you seem to find a way to score even when they key on you night after night after night. You've given us rebel fans lots to cheer about and we're all excited that we get to keep watching you play in your own hometown for the next 4 years at Bethel College. Good luck in all that you do. you're a great example for our sport on and off the court.
  3. Congratulations to Anna of McKenzie for scoring her 2000th point Tuesday night. That is a great accomplishment by a great young lady.
  4. Not sure but I think it is on FM 104.7. Sometimes its hard to find and pick up. The best thing is just BE THERE and yell for the lady rebels in person. It's a lot more fun that way. It should be a very exciting game.
  5. what colleges are interested? How seriously? how interested is she in any of them?
  6. we think coffman is a great coach and a great person! You don't know how lucky you are. Look around! You could do a WHOLE lot worse. Dyersburg girls are a great group and they'll bounce back with or without their "Injured" players". Good luck the rest of the season. Hope to see you play sometime soon. SORRY...but it's worth saying twice anyway.
  7. we think coffman is a great coach!! some people don't realize what they have, but look around. you could do a whole lot worse. Dyersburg girls are a great team and they'll bounce back with or without their "injured" players.
  8. who did pigue sign to play with next year? What position does she play in h.s.?
  9. mckenzie lost to greenfield by 5 points and it was a VERY close game. What players were missing? Looked like the regular starters were there to me. I believe that lady rebels had a very good chance to win that game. they had trull covered up most of the time and she still had 15 or 16 points. i think the lady rebels did a good job on greenfield's best player, atnip, too. cause i don't think she scored too many that night. just one game at a time. we may have a weak district but who knows what might happen by the region time? Westviewman, Your team might even be upset cause who knows who will come out of YOUR district?
  10. what a nail biter! lady rebels pull it out in the last 30 seconds to win. wiggins hits and 3 and trull rebounds and is fouled with 4 tenths of a second left in the game. she hits both free throws and mckenzie wins 46 -44. low scoring game for the rebels. trull hurt her finger in the second quarter and reinjured it on the rebound. hope she's gonna be ok and ready to play on tuesday.
  11. according to box scores camden may have outscored mckenzie in the 3rd quarter but i wouldn't say they dominated in the second half. mckenzie 14 17 14 18 10 camden 12 14 26 11 8 AND camden capitalized on some of the No call fouls underneath the rebels' goal. we were getting hammered under there.
  12. mckenzie and greenfield played a close, exciting game last night. score was Greenfield 66 - Mckenzie 61. At one time late in the game they were tied. mckenzie played well at times as did greenfield. Stats for mckenzie were: Anna Trull - 15 pts., 6 reb. Courtney Wiggins - 13 pts., 4 reb. Brook Cole 12pts Zana Carter - 10 pts. Don't know the scoring of greenfield players. maybe someone has those stats.
  13. how did kayla get hurt? anybody got details or updates? hope she's ok!
  14. mckenzie beat riverside for the second time tonight. Scoring for Mckenzie was: Brook Cole 20; Anna Trull 12 pts, 8 assists, 7 rebounds; Lindsey King 9 pts, 3 reb; Courtney Wiggins 8 pts, 5 reb. Score was 60 - 42 i think. way to go rebels!
  15. u go girl! you're fun to watch play and sounds like you're off to a great start this season.
