  1. speed and size makes the difference in selecting a sec d1 type player and a d2 player. d1 coaches will take a person who might have potential over a person who is racking up stats any day of the week. it also matters what division they play in. 5a is much more competition than 1a by far. /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
  2. hey guys did ya miss me. i havent been able to keep up very much with the region or my good old columbia lions this year, but as i can see they still are adjusting to 5a. good luck to all the region playoff teams. 6-5a the toughest region. p.s. columbia over indy 24-20
  3. mt. pleasant will be region champs to marco dailey leaves. when he does they will probably still be region champs.
  4. thanks for the info. i seen on rivals they have no film on him. could be a reason y he isnt ranked oh well. still a good player.
  5. no they wont. because tommy and bj had good games and spring hill came up short in overtime. sorry 56-55. last second shot!!!! go lions
  6. rashad mason and isaiah smith should be on the rivals list!!!
  7. none of them come close to maurice "Mo" miller from raleigh egypt. can shoot, pass, break the press by himself, dribble, dunk. can do it all. he is ballin
  8. this is not an all-state list for the last time. people are not voting they are evaluating and scouting. they use video tape, performances from the scout.com combines and other camps, and come in person to the games. there are good linemen in tn but i guess not high profile enough to make the top 20 players list.
  9. even if a player has one offer that doesnt mean he is not a top player. i know at least mark fisher should be on here. this not an all state team. all state teams take players from top teams and doesnt even really consider people from bad teams. this is individual talent, no favorites. everyone is deserving thats on this list.
  10. im glad mason made it. isaiah smith wasnt on it at the begining either. they both deserve it
  11. scout.com updated top 20 list of 2007 football prospects
  12. a little of both. but it needs to be more discipline by the coaches.
  13. he is pretty good i would have gave him at least all region and midstate along with the all state award
  14. rod davis is the best wr in the state. u betta ask sumbody. has good stats and the scholarship offers to prove it.
  15. just thought he would have been on the others since he was all state thats all.
  16. rapbwood dont get mad. i was just wondering how that could happen. i dont hate i congradulate.
  17. how can a player make the highest all state and not make anything lower like all region, area and midstate. ex. a lavergne receiver made 5a all state team but didnt even make all region not metion all midstate. im just wondering how that can happen?
  18. i just hope they make some much needed changes. they will always have d1 players but i want to see them win.
  19. columbia gets exposure with colleges because some individual players shine at the summer camps and perform well on the field regardless of wins or losses. columbia has some of the best athletes around.
  20. if your team wasnt very good u have a very very slim chance of making all state
  21. this list is good. but alot of high caliber players wasnt on the list.if todd cambell made it these player should have.there are probably more players that should have been on there. smith-columbia- he made it last year. stats were better this year wilks-smyrna-5a champs. good stats gray-smyrna-5a champs. good stats
  22. columbia ALL-REGION isaiah smith#9 LB/DE omar anderson#55 DT mario williams# 1 WR
  23. rod wilks-smyrna sonny gray-smyrna marco dailey-mt.pleasant magwan smith-spring hill
