Look, no one is question your ability as a coach. The questions being asked were just why the offensive coordiantor went away from #6 in second half so soon. I could understand if they stop him a couple of times or bust him for a loss. Now now coach don't get so angry. All I am saying is I don't care what alignment changes the defense makes that should not affect you giving the ball to your best player. Maybe a different play call or maybe your team makes a blocking change would help there to. They did not make great changes if Melvin has a 40 and 50 yard runs in first half at all. York may very well go 10-0 but no one really cares about the regular season. It is what you do in the playoffs that people will remember. And with the way TSSAA has the playoff system in tact. They will probaly have to play Smith and Westmoreland again and both match-ups will be very tough.

I feel that Cannon improves to 4-2 on the season and picks up there first region win of the year. The thing that concerns me is that Cannon has a very good running back in Melvin Young and he only touches the football twice in the second half of the Dekalb game. He was not hurt or anything, I surely hop they were not using him as a decoy. The young man has scored 13 touchdowns this season and broke two very long runs against the Tigers and then is not used in the 2nd half until it was time to ice the game. But anyway enough of that. Coach Barger and his Lions get a 33-12 win at home agianst the Blue Devils.

Swing admit it, Tiny is, was and will always be the best athlete out of the family. You are lucky to carry his gym bag to football games on Friday night, and carry his basketball shoes on Tuesday and Friday nights, then and only if your lucky enough to carry his baseball cleats during the spring. You only dream you were as good as Tiny. But anyway good luck to Coach Sanders and the Owls not only in this game but all season long. Coach Sanders is a great coach and a very quality person.

I would have to go with Pickett in this one. Playing at home and with all players will be too much for the Owls. But the main question would be woh would win in a one on one game you or TINY

A team in the situation that they have been in, a coach should play the best players at the position no matter whose parents are involoved or what grade the players are in. Sometimes it is tough to do this becasue of politics, but what are you teaching kids and why play to lose. If your best chacne to win is playing freshman play them.

Does anyone know the bracket for the Mid-South Classic at Upperman, Jackson County and Cookeville. I know Bradford and Upperman is a first round match-up. Any other match-ups?

Boyd vs Upperman, Upperman still a year away I say Boyd wins and gets ready for a rematch with the OWLS of Smith County. Boyd by 21 Tyner vs York could be a good game. York will be ready, not the match-up tyner would want in Round 1. York is the sleeper in this set of play-off games. Good running game could help the Dragons, Tyner by 7 Smith County vs Bledsoe County, Bledsoe is playing well of late, but going to Carthage will be tough, the Owls will be looking forward to a Round 2 match-up with the BUCS of Boyd. Dekalb will be good becasue they play hard, but I think that they lost a lot of key players off of last years team to compete in the top three, I may be wrong but we will see. York and Macon will be young and could make a run this distirct I think is the most balanced from top to bottom as I have ever seen it. Cannon will have a shot at the top three or four. Smith will be good as long as they stay healthy. Upperman and Livingston are just ahead of everyone else in this district as of right now, but that's why we play the games.

getting ready to go to the Hole to watch Smith County and Cannon County for Senior Night and I looked outside and saw the sun maybe the rain will hold off for a little whiel to get some good football in for a half maybe.
