Whites Creek's players must have a lot of character. They were struggling through a tough season, had some tough early season upsets, bball is approaching, and they had ever reason to throw in the towel and give a half-hearted effort. But they rose to the challenge, played their tails off, and defeated a previously unbeaten Stratford team. Ain't this what high school football is all about - developing character. Congratulations to Coach Coure and his young men for the win and the guts to get it.

Bubba Hathaway is #55, the one always blocking at the point of attack. He is the truth. Marcus Rayford is #70, is playing with a knee that will be operated on after the season. Was a standout until injury; playing off of true grit and heart right now, that's why he wasn't as impressive as usual. Pearl-Cohn's boys are classy and are winners. I knew they would bounce back.

Pearl-Cohn is too PHYSICAL for any team from Clarksville to play with. NW has some ability and can compete with most teams, but Pearl-Cohn will beat them up.
