As should Moore County and their weak schedule.
McKenzie vs Opp Scoring 200 to 79. Moore County 249 to 77.
Opponents records thus far: 23-33 McKenzie Moore Co 26-32.
Let's both just agree that our regions assigned by the TSSAA are not really any competition. Nor are the two larger class schools we have both played in Franklin Co and Chester Co, respectively.
And yes. If we are fortunate enough to get back to you guys in the third round, you are the favorites to win.
Even though he is a freshman, he has too much speed to not be utilized in some situations. He earned more playing time, in my opinion, last Friday night.
McKenzie should get one of our running backs who has been injured all year back this week. He may see limited action, but it is going to help our offense with being able to move people around.
I really am waiting to see Coach Comer put the fresman Jacobi Melton into the game more. He has really good speed. Just a little lite in the britches.
Chester Co has a D1 receiver, and a QB who is also getting looks. Their tailback is a quick scatback.
Dresden just straight beat us in every aspect of the game Friday. We dropped some gimme touchdowns, and their line just took advantage of our inexperience.
Well executed game plan by the Lions tonight. The Rebels had no answer. Their were several dropped passes that may have helped the Rebels cause, but we got manhandled up front. That Dresden line is good. Congratulations! If you listened to our broadcast I hope you enjoyed it.
Good luck the rest of the way.
I can name only one player that came from HC in the last 10 years that had significant playing time. And he left after his junior year. So take that garbage back to the dump.
Great wins. All I am saying, and its a compliment, with the talent you guys have had over there in those years, you should have a some gold balls.
None the less, I think you guys will go deep.
Maybe so. But every team that plays Huntingdon for the last, oh call it 20 years, has lined up to stop that wing t offense. It's one dimensional. Dresden won't be that way.
I will give you that you passed the ball more last Friday than I have ever seen a Huntingdon team throw.
We are thin on the line but by no means is the well empty. Tate Surber is legit as our QB. We don’t drop off their one bit. Dresden will present more of a challenge to our defense because they don’t run the same 3 plays over and over again.
I expect a Rebel win at home but may be closer than some think.
Hope Waverly has a great year!!
