  1. That is weird. That phone number should work. I don't control any of that stuff.
  2. Hmm. That's funny. Everyone else uses it with no problem. Takes you to this screen, and then you go down hit McKenzie Rebels. This link will take you to the same place: https://zeno.fm/radio/whdm-am/
  3. I expect the same response next week if we win and Dresden wins. LOL.
  4. I sent it to your AD the other day, but here it is. https://www.radionwtn.com/sports/ We also have a number they call and listen on their phone: 1-631-793-5253. Sometimes it may not work.
  5. I appreciate the compliment. Come over and say, "Hi" on Friday. Actually, I invite all T posters to come say hello. I enjoy putting a face with a "made up" name. LOL.
  6. Appreciate the compliment. There is just no sense in getting into a peeing contest with anyone over high school football. Funny you mention that Peabody game. I was thinking about that game the other day in comparison to this one. On paper, McKenzie should not have been in that game from the jump but we were. And yes, I have said many many times, the road to Chattanooga goes through Lynchburg. Anyone with half a brain cell could see that coming last year. So I echo what you say. If we win, I will be humble, gracious, and happy. I will congratulate Moore Co on a fantastic season, and move on to the next week. If we lose, I will announce our Seniors for the last time, congratluate Moore Co, and make plans to possibly go over to Dresden/UC the next Friday to watch a great ballgame.
  7. Tell me about it! I am trying to figure out how to keep radio equipment dry.
  8. Does Dawson have any offers for football? Genuinely curious.
  9. To answer the question of how many starters are back. It is 5 on offense and 5 on defense. But remember this....those kids who didn't "start" last year, played EVERY game. So they have the experience. Our concern coming in this year was replacing 4 of the 5 lineman. We returned 1 true starting offensive lineman. With that said, our line is doing a pretty good job this year. Again, don't count us out.
  10. Why is most everyone counting out McKenzie in this game? Yes, we got beat by Dresden (Would, Coulda, Shoulda, but we did drop atleast two if not 3 TD passes) Yes, our region was terribly soft. Yes, we all knew Moore County was loaded this year. Yes, I think Dawson White will win Mr. Football. That kid is special! But if I know one thing about this McKenzie team, they will come prepared and will fight. We may get beat like a "bongo drum" as someone said. But it will not be because of lack of effort or preparation. Comer will have them prepared with a scheme. It may not matter. Who knows! But that is why you play them, right? Regardless, I hope for an injury free game, and good sportsmanship all the way around.
  11. I got a couple of questions for the Moore Co faithful. 1. We are considering broadcasting from the visitor stands if the weather cooperates. It looks like from Google earth, I can pull my truck right behind the stands. Is that correct? 2. Is there a power source over there? 3. The most important question....since the radio crew going to get to Lynchburg around 4, whats the go to spot to get some grub? Thanks!
  12. Field looks to be in great shape! Doesn’t look wet at all from pressbox.
  13. If you want to listen to our broadcast, here is the link. McKenzie Rebel Sports 98.9 FM
  14. I would like to wish safe travels to the Collinwood fans. Your address to put into your GPS is 114 W Bell Ave, McKenzie, TN 38201. This will put you behind the vistor seats and you can park there. Eating establishments: Big Daddy BBQ (Take out only), Rivals Sports Bar, The Station, Prater Taters, HomeTown Hangout (opens at 4:30), Marias Mexican, El Vallarta Mexican, Chick Fila on the campus of Bethel University, Sonic, McDonalds, Subway, Dairy Queen, TNT BBQ, Old West Steakhouse, Chinese Lantern, Block City Pizza. Yeah that is about it.
  15. Forecast is for rain beginning tomorrow into the night and ending Friday morning. I anticpate the field will soak up alot since it has been so dry but it still could make for a slippery track in some spots.
  16. For McKenzie, if one of the managers gets injured, its important to us. We have no depth.
  17. Can someone from Collinwood list positions on here please? I received their roster today, but no positions. I need it for the radio broadcast. Or, you can email mckenzierebelsports@gmail.com and I will send it to you in a file to fill in. # Name POS 1 Aidan Daniel 2 Lucas Bryant 3 Fletcher Thompson 5 Bensen Blalock 6 Justin Johnson 7 Nicholas Sanderson 8 Luke Holt 9 Corbin Smith 10 Thayer Brewer 13 Aiden Roberts 15 Bennett Rich 16 Wyatt Smith 17 Wesley Brewer 20 Ryan Karcher 21 Stetson Holt 22 Blake Whitten 25 Alex Daniel 26 Cole Risner 28 Jonathan Rozinski 30 Broday Holt 31 Remington Holt 33 Tyler Jackson 42 Cristian Risner 45 Al Burbank 50 Drey Howe 53 Tyler Bradely 55 Ace Moore 60 Tristan Tucker 61 Jayden Wright 62 Hakken Holt 64 Sawyer Stone 65 Dakota Gerber 66 Robby Faulds 68 Timothy Chapman 72 Jayden Daniel 74 Jonathan Quigley 76 Zolan Stults 77 Tucker Adams 80 Westin Daniel 82 Wessen Bromley 85 Harrison Rich 86 Lucas Hamm 88 Cole Wilkins
  18. I watched one game on them today. I think it was Eagleville. They didn’t appear on film to be extremely fast. They are big. We gonna have to bring our “A” game.
  19. Keep Brown from getting to the second level. Make him go side to side and not turn the edge. Plenty of seating at MASE. I would suggest getting there early enough to get inside the gate to park.
  20. I was talking about this with someone the other day about how if McKenzie would have played the starters last year, and this year, all four quarters, the numbers would be off the charts. Last year, our starters probably played in 5 games total before the play offs started.
  21. I have no idea. I guess some may not. Who knows. I got no problem with Russell.
  22. Updated: 115/163 1761 yards 23 TD 1 INT 71% 53 carries for 286 yards. 6 TD 5.4 a carrie
