I do agree, smyrna might need to run it a little better. they never could get in a good rhythm on offense, but once they did, they rolled. i do wanna say hats off to smyrna's starting D for not just shutting out coffee's offense but absolutely shutting them down completely. coffee could not throw or run, but they did work extremely hard at trying. i was amazed that price was calling time outs as smyrna is kneeling it with 10 seconds left and no chance of the outcome of the game changing. i even heard the officials tell each other the game had been over for an hour as they walked out of the stadium. coffee gave a good fight, but just did not have the talent to match up. next week should be a great game. congrats to lavergne on teir win over cookeville.

what kind of effect does the extreme cold weather play on this game? who does it benefit more? I would like to see lavergne pull it otu, but i think the weather plays into cookeville's favor. just a thought.

hmmm.... shameless joined yesterday, fballisazero hasn't posted since cat busted him less than a week ago, and shameless has the same negative comments about smyrna and their players. but then again, this post did not occur during school hours, so maybe this could be someone else bitter towards smyrna....hmmm.....

oh i commend those players. they were smart enough to know that they could be lazy and get out of practice and give blood on that particular day, instead of going on the weekend. i commend the thought they put into this. i wonder how muh other civil service these kids have partaken in to hlp humanity

what happened to all the talk that smyrna can't play a physical game? That their defense can't win games? that their offense can't grind it out on the ground? i thought smyrna played a great game tonight, on both sides of the ball.

i don't know where u got your info from. riverdale got about 8 yards total up the middle. granted they probably only tried about 6 times, but all of their yards came outside of the tackles. smyrna is pretty tough in the middle. they just struggle on the edge.

Golden Tate is a one man scoring machine. smyrna hasa very balanced attack. they have about 9 or 10 guys that score for them, just like riverdale does. rod does not have to catch the ball for smyrna to score a td. they have two good backs who have several tds. Rod does not have to do all the scoring. Golden Tate on the other hand, does the large majority of jpIIs scoring

Tate plays in a smaller division, right? just wondering.

some of u are getting all worked up over a guy that doesn't go to or have any affiliation with smyrna(bdogg). Smyrna respects riverdale jut the same as riverdale repects smyrna. this will be a good game.

pretty sure that "dave" threw the first punches in that scuffle. but then again he didn't get thrown out. maybe it was because rankin ran out and got dave and hid him on the sideline. of course then again, that is the past and is over with. dave is scoring touchdowns for memphis now. i'll give him one thing, he was a superb athlete.

there is no in fighting going on at smyrna. this is some fan trying to cause some trouble. smyrna is all on the same page. they will be working on preparing for rdale the next 2 weeks.
