Collinwood upsets Summertown 53-41

Most practices are nothing but 5 on 5 with no fundamentals being taught at any level of AAU. Most, not all, that coach are wanna be coaches that know little about how the game should be played. They let the players do whatever they want, then the players and the parents think that this is what should be accepted when they get back to their high school teams. Sure you get to play in front of some college coaches, but still its the high school coach that the college coach relies on to give a realistic view on what the player can or cannot do, grades, and what kind of person the player is. These are important things that AAU coaches know little or nothing about.

Collinwood is doing great. They had very many hits and yes they arre young they had 4 freshmen starting the other night and every other time they have played summertown but they just hit the ball right into the outfielders and summertown had some good hits but so did c'wood.

Wayne county got put out and right now its Summertown Collinwood Perry County but collinwood almost beat summertown last night and summer town has as many seniors playing as collinwood has freshmen

collinwood lost to summertown last night but they put up a good fight they were up until the last inning and then collinwood plays perry county thursday night and then if they win they play summertown after that and if they beat summertown then they play summertown again thursday night

W'boro 10 Perry County 0... Mt. Pleasant a kagillion Hampshier 0... Niether W'boro or Perry county pitched their aces... why because they were both playing to lose... W'boro is too worried about their prom tonight and want's all of the games changed to thier convenience... if and when they lose to S'town they have to play again tonight at like 8:30... i know some of those guys probably want to go to thier senior prom... but those guys need to decide which is more important especially the ones that are only juniors... i know i'll miss a prom 4 a baseball game especially in the tournaments... w'boro should have menchioned their prom at the Dist. meeting instead of waiting untill last night....

did W'boro and Zion win yesterday? If so it will be Zion and Mt. Pleasant--- W'boro and perry county thursday at Collinwood...Winners go on to face Summertown and Collinwood.. loosers face each other.

Andrews is moving around some without her boot... she still takes grounders and some cuts every once in a while in the boot... she may still like a couple of weeks but i see her playing this season and making a big change in the line up and at shortstop she will own the left side of the field.... If healthy, the best sophmore in dist. 12A no doubt....

Collinwoods played dist. games tuseday and wed. pitching their #1 and #2... but i don't figure any of the teams will be pitching there aces.. they'll probably keep them for dist. games. should be some runs scored.

having a certain day set up for make up games is a good idea. this way teams don't have to cancel non-district games just to get make up games in at the end of the year. as for playing on Saturdays most teams have games scheduled already. especially tournaments. plus since the dist. games are scheduled back to back on Mon. and Tue. to keep a team from using the same pitcher. wed is the closest day to those to keep a team from using the same pitcher. everything has it's pros and cons, it's just a matter of having more pros than cons. Collinwood Mt. Pleasant Game has been scheduled for today.

the way that i understood the rainouts was that all dist. rain out would be made up on that wendsday. but the last i heard Mt.Pleasants coach refused to make up the collinwood rain out on Wed. i like the idea of the new system but if were gonna have one lets stick to it. if anyone knows when the game will be made up let me know. thanks

Collinwoods Jordan Martin is an amazing talent and look for the trojanettes to be stronger this year and in up coming years than they've ever been, with another sophomore comming in this year.... thats right Abby Andrews will be sighted on the diamond this year she's a great athelete and will be great playing along side Martin.. they will be two very strong sophomores!
