  1. Expectations are high......very high. The schedule is tough but the defense will be hard to handle.
  2. Craig Fields LHP from Milan should have been there. Does anyone know why he wasn't?
  3. I won't argue that Avery is a game changer but #88 Christian Coleman was huge at DE which helped Avery get a lot of those tackles.
  4. So you're saying Milan had 1 player that kept them in the game against a team that just won 5 straight gold balls? I think you may be off in your assessment of Milan's depth. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. Nice job DC. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  6. Were these lineman on the team last year?
  7. GC up 3-2... bottom 4th... Milan batting, 2 runners on and 1 out. Play resumes today at 3
  8. Hemann is a soph., Christian is a soph and his little brother Taran finished game 1 and pitched 5 innings is a freshman.
  9. Milan DL Christian Coleman demands a double team and LB Avery Williamson can't be stopped.
  10. I know Mitchell has some real studs coming back. Milan may have the best LB in the state with Avery Williamson (2010) and possibly the best DE in Christian Coleman (2011).
  11. This district appears to be wide open. I just don't see a clear favorite right now.
  12. Yep, I hear there are 3 D1 studs at Milan for the next couple of years.
  13. I really don't care for playing JCS but it is what it is. I see a possible big game between unbeatens when Milan/Dyersburg play at Johnnie Hale.
  14. 1979 AA State Champion. Show some respect.
  15. Anyone get to see Avery's 22 tackle record setting game against Alcoa? The best LB prospect in the state for the class of 2010.
  16. Great game between 2 very good teams. I thought Chase James and Sam Thompson played the safety position the way it's supposed to be played. The FB Tyson is an excellent blocker and worth the price of admission when him and Avery squared up on each other. Thompson is also a real good blocker at receiver. Alcoa dominated time of possession and turnovers were too much to overcome. Alcoa makes very few mistakes as a team and are obviously well coached. Jr. LB Avery Williamson #19 is the best LB prospect from TN. A little FYI for some Alcoa fans is that he won MVP LB at Ole Miss camp back in the summer. He's something special. Still can't believe he got slighted for a Mr. Football nomination. Soph DE Christian Coleman #88 was a beast on the field last night. . I expect big things from him in 09'. Both of these guys should be 4 or 5 star prospects if they keep working hard. I expect a rematch next year as Milan returns 10 starters.
  17. Milan wins 17-13 Leave it all on the field Milan.
  18. What happened to Alcoa against a small average CAK team or against a slightly above average Marion Co. team? It's called football and anything can happen if you don't come to play.
  19. Week 10 halftime Milan 42 Westview 0. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  20. BD03, something tells me most of these Alcoa fans don't know as much about Milan as we know about Alcoa. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  21. You still picking Alcoa by 30 and if so what is your basis for that prediction. I want an answer other than Alcoa is just the better team. Like why are they better than Milan? Break it down for me position by position.
  22. Avery 160 lbs? You might want to add about 60 to that and only two of those players go both ways full time. Yep that's all we got on defense /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
