Well, when we to to LA it's gonna be some stiff competition. 2 of the 3 games are against teams ranked in the state polls down there.

East Ridge will win the district and probably take state too. They have the best pitcher in the district, and there is no reason they shouldn't be in memphis come may. Agreed?

Everyone should fear ER. Especially you hixson guys, seeing that ER combined for 3 or 4 hits and about 30 k's last year in 2 losses against you. You wildcats better be scared. (especially without a dominating ace now that bolton is gone)

hixson played terrible in the first half, but woke up in the second. down by 8 at half, smalley for hixson started the comeback, then wood kept hixson up throughout the 3rd by a couple of points. josh green busted 3 3's in the 4th quarter to put csas away (2 in the last minute). great game by big #40 for hixson, stayed on the boards all game. Hixson is finally starting to get on a roll. good game. i'd love to see these two in the finals here in a couple of weeks.

between last year's final ending between these two, and the baseball grudge matches this has turned into somewhat of a heated little rivalry. who will pull it out and why?
