Well, when we to to LA it's gonna be some stiff competition. 2 of the 3 games are against teams ranked in the state polls down there.

i saw in another thread walker valley is ranked 1 in the preseason state poll, so they should be the favorite.

East Ridge will win the district and probably take state too. They have the best pitcher in the district, and there is no reason they shouldn't be in memphis come may. Agreed?

Everyone should fear ER. Especially you hixson guys, seeing that ER combined for 3 or 4 hits and about 30 k's last year in 2 losses against you. You wildcats better be scared. (especially without a dominating ace now that bolton is gone)

hixson played terrible in the first half, but woke up in the second. down by 8 at half, smalley for hixson started the comeback, then wood kept hixson up throughout the 3rd by a couple of points. josh green busted 3 3's in the 4th quarter to put csas away (2 in the last minute). great game by big #40 for hixson, stayed on the boards all game. Hixson is finally starting to get on a roll. good game. i'd love to see these two in the finals here in a couple of weeks.

between last year's final ending between these two, and the baseball grudge matches this has turned into somewhat of a heated little rivalry. who will pull it out and why?

News just in from TSSAA.... Mcneil has been suspended for the rest of the regular season. He can play again once the playoffs start. Oh wait... that's ron artest. Sorry, my bad, i got the two mixed up so i don't know what the deal with mcneil is yet.

well, i see that mcneil played last night. for some reason i don't think he'll be on the court after the tssaa gets a hold of everything. russ is a good guy but everyone knows he's gonna get something (possibly big) from this.

I don't want to hear anymore of you soddy kids taking russ's back, especially if you weren't there. Leave his kid out of it, but he was stupid. There is no wrong in saying that. well i was at the game and saw everything. Parents also said that during the jv game mcneil and 2 others came to the hixson side and sat behind that former player's family taunting them. Then after the game this artest wannabe went up and tried to stomp the kid with his brother following. Mcneil ending up getting the worse end of the deal, but that's his problem. Mcneil should be suspended for far more than 2 games. Not only did he start it but also assualted hixson's principal who tried to break it up. He should be gone for the year, and how stupid is he for risking his team's season like that. Not only that, but charges will hopefully be filed and be most deserving. This had nothing to do with hixson. no one stepped out of line. the soddy crowd was loud but respectful to. All this was was a stupid action by a player who apparently had a personal problem.

if i was a coach at a school like csas, you can have whatever players you want to come and play for you even if they are out of zone they can still go and play there the school will just have to let them in
