Houston County boys have a chance to win an outright district regular season title with a win at McEwen tomorrow night. Will this game be played since Humphreys County schools are closed all week due to illness? Who makes that decision? District tournament starts next Monday so there isn't a lot of time left to get a make-up game in.

Any thoughts on this early season district match-up? Seems that they are playing tonight for sole possession of first place in District 10A.

Houston County took care of Moore County, and Forrest did the same to Nashville Christian. Region final is being played tonight at Forrest. Predictions anyone?

Who will be playing for a regional berth here? Houston County will be hosting and Nashville Christian will be traveling from District 10A.

The last time Houston County's girls played in a substate game, they went to Summertown. So, unless something has changed with all the realignments, that area of the state would be my guess for a substate opponent. Anyone know for sure?

Obviously, I'd like to see Houston County win it all, and I think they have a very good chance; they are a team of veteran, competitive players. Assuming they get through the first game tomorrow, I think they'll be seeing East Robertson. They split with them in the regular season -- each team winning by 1 or 2 runs. East won last week in extra innings. Should be a great game. Go Big Green!!!

I know today's district games were moved up in hopes of getting them played before the rain sets in. Anyone have scores from any of the games played already or currently being played?

HC and MC would play in a region semi-final. They are in the same bracket. Hoping to see a rematch between these two teams. Good luck to all in the tourney!

Does anyone have the match-ups and/or brackets for District 9A? What times and where will everyone be playing? District 10A meeting is Friday, so theirs won't be available until then. Any predictions on the tournamnet outcomes of this district and region?

Saw where NCS won by 4, I think. Anyone know for sure? Have also heard rumors that the HC/McEwen game has been moved to a 4:30 start tonight due to the weather forecast? Does anyone know if the game time has been changed?

What happened at the McEwen-WH Heritage game? Was shocked to see that score? McEwen has another big game tonight against Nashville Christian. Any predictions?

10A district is at Clarksville Academy. 5A Region is at Eagleville.

Houston County lost to Loretto and Pope John Paul at the Forrest Hall of Champions Day; they played without their starting point guard who was recovering from knee surgery. Their other losses are to Memphis Ridgeway and Calloway Clounty, KY in a Christmas tournament. The coach does try to find tough competition for them to play outside of their district in hopes of preparing them for a deep run in the tournament. Would love to see them make it to the "Boro this year, but as we all know, it sometimes takes a little luck and a few breaks along the way. Good luck to all as we head into post-season.

Houston County and Clarksville Academt did not play last night. No reschedule date as of now. Did anyone from District 10A play last night? Have any make-up dates been set? Would like to see the NC-McEwen game if they're not playing on a night when HC is.

LEAD Academy at Houston County has been moved to Thursday. Girls' game will start at 5:00 with the boys' game to follow. Any other games affected because of yesterday's or tonight's forecasted weather?

Houston County wins by 20+ and is in first place in the district. Nashville Christian also wins last night giving them sole possession of 2nd place with McEwen in third and White House Heritage in fourth. Will this be the way the district plays out?
