Sycamore just needs to forget about the season so far and focus on one thing, beating Greenbrier this week. I know and we all know that this is not going to be an easy task but it can be done. Sycamore is getting Mccain back and hopefully he will contribute to the offense. The defense must come up big for the Wareagles! They have not much this season but it can all change in one game. Jake Vaughn and Jem Moore need to have huge games for the Wareagles. Leave it all out on the field this week guys. I'll be there supporting ya'll and just remember, "big players make big plays in big games".

I know who you are wurd up, and I respect you for still supporting Sycamore. I was responding to shs5.0's comments. And i respect Logan very much he was an awsome player, but now we dont have to rely on pierce to score everytime. Now we have other players stepping up and playing big roles. Oh and by the way i was there when Sycamore traveled to Jackson.

Just because Sycamore lost Logan Pierce doesnt mean they are going to lose scoring. Coach Jones wanted Logan to have the ball every time when he was in the game. Now with Logan gone that has freed up shooters like Watts, Barksdale, and Randy. Other players have stepped up like Jesse Moulton and Austin Lohin. Rives and Adam have been handling the pressure well and driving to get other players wide open shots. Sycamore only lost to Hunters Lane (who beat Hendersonville by 15) by 3 without Logan in their to score. Thats because they have players being able to shoot the ball now. Coming up this Friday, we will see who the really Sycamore fans are!

Logan Pierce is an all around good player. He can stroke the trail three or he can take you off the dribble. He has a sweet mid range game too. He is averaging in the low twenties in points, double digit rebounds, and about 3 blocks a game. If he plays well for the rest of the season he should look to be going to a small college to play ball.

Sycamore is 0-3 to start the season. Why havent they won a game????? From what i have see it is a lack of focus. They havent played a "complete game" this year. Every game they have played, they have only played hard in three quarters. In the Whites Creek game, Sycamore was up by 11 going into half and then blew the lead in the third quarter. Agianst Clarksville they had a horrible first quarter and came back and lost by a bucket. Tonight they played Goodpasture and played horrible early and were down by double digits going into the third quarter. The second half they came out ready to play and went up by two at one point, but 2 key players fouled out. Sycamore ended up losing by two after two missed threes and a baby jumper with about ten seconds left.

Did Sal Zavala get to play for Harpeth??? and if he did, how did he do???

Just wonderin who people think the best waterboys are girls are this year?? This may not seem intersring to some but the water people play a very important role in basketball games.I have seen alot of games were the trainer is the waterboy,it just aint the same!!! Waterboys are very underappreciatted.This one time when a particular team was takin a 20 sec time out the water boy was not there to distribute the water,and just happen to be that they were shootin a ft and the shooter did ot get water. As a result of poor hydration he aired the shot,and went down the court yelling obscenities to the waterboy.He cried(the waterboy)and the team hasnt won a game since.The curse of the waterboy???? U DECIDE!!!!!!So the next time u are in a timeout get water.MAke sure to hug your waterboy or girl always and often for the may be the turning point in a pivital game.

okiedoke, i couldnt agree with you more. I saw Sycamore play in a preseason scrimmage and thet looked very competitive. They also seemed well coached. I hope to see big things from that Sycamore team this year.

PIPPYshortSTOCKING makes a very good point. two years ago we went with out pgm and went 4-22 on the year. Last year, with the same players, we added in the pgm and went 21-5 coming in second in the district. that year we had three players averaging 15 points or more. at the end of the season i asked them why they played so well and all of them said it was because of the great pgm. they also said that i coached better when eating pgm. PIPPY, what kind of food do you feed to your team for pgm?
