Are Giles Co. fans riding on the bandwagon too? We have the same problem at our school. What it comes down to is they don't win as many games so fan support is at a min. My opinion is that Girls bball is a layup-fest.

Logan does have a very high scoring percent. I asked someone on the basketball team about logan's points during the Fairview game. (i had to leave early) I guess that information wasn't near correct, that is why I have erased this post.

Interesting post... I'm glad you remember, it was our pleasure. As long as "peebop" doesn't move and "cholstoral" doesn't throw the ball away during the press we will be ok. Lohin (Fr. that plays like a Sr.) has really helped out this year. There really hasn't been a huge standout player all year, Pierce with around 30ppg is leading. This is a team thang. As to our fans... the "real" fans have been here the whole time. The Sycamore social club just jumped (more like sat down) on the bandwagon acouple of games ago. coachrop, Nice rundown of the district. I think this friday will decide in which direction everybody is going. Cheatham is playing at Montgomery Central and Sycamore is playing at Waverly. These are going to be two great games! All of these teams seem to be evenly matched. MY PREDICTIONS... Cheatham by 10, and Sycamore by 6. Waverly is good but it's going to be hard to break Sycamore's hot streak and Montgomery Central just hasn't had thier rythm lately (hasn't broke 55 in past three games.) Any more predictions?

Sounds like this is going to be a good game! I havent seen Waverly play it sounds like they are good again this year, Harpeth is no push over. What happened during that game to give Waverly such an edge? I wouldn't put Sycamore out just yet. The score tonight does not justify the ball that they are playing! The jv played probably more than half of the game. I didn't know it was legal to hit so many three pointers in a row Our leading scorer didn't even get to see much action because of the double/triple team. I WILL make the trip to Waverly to see this one. My (partial) vote goes to Sycamore.

Sycamore did it again... they beat up on Fairview 83-53. I cannot believe this is the same team from before Christmas break. Sycamore is rolling. Predictions on the Waverly game this friday???

Jones is a very talented coach. Sycamore would not be where they are now whithout him. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to take out True and Tinch. They were acouple of the leaders last night, behind Pierce with 26 points. True and Tinch are pretty good ball handlers and in my opinion should have been there instead of Brian Bullard. Not a crack on him, just that he isnt as quick as True on the press. Sycamore is playin some good ball, this is a tough week maybe we can keep up the good work.

Sycamore back from the break and are a whole nother team. The war eagles had a 9 point loss to a VERY talented Maplewood (beat McGavock, Pearl Cohn, Stratford, and a tough loss to Glencliff) Maplewood pressed Sycamore all night, but Sycamore was only down by one point at the half. Even though this was a loss, it shows that Sycamore is playing at a whole level to keep up with a team of that quality. If the War Eagles bring the game they have been playing the past few days... Waverly is in trouble friday.

Clearly Cheatham has not played Waverly in the District tourny because the Cubs would have dominated that one, going on to win the District tounry. Cheatham has always had Waverly's number during the SEASON... just making a point... again. For such a good team Cheatham has not won many titles in a while. Not smack talk, just "checking the history" I'm not much a fan of star trek. I do like seeing my team come though in the post season.

I am not "hating" on Cheatham. I think that Waverly is the best team in the district as of right now. If yall played them 10 times they would win 5. Cheatham has had some up and downs during this season. Yall had a UP night last night. That not "hating" thats a fact.

My vote is for the student section. They are pretty good.

Is Waverly having a hard time coming back after the break, or was Cheatham just "on" that night? From what I hear the Cubs have had a roller coaster season. I remember when they played Sycamore... they couldn't miss. Cheatham must have shot 95%

Big congrads to Sycamore! I wasn't suprised that we beat Mont Central even though they are having a pretty good season. Sycamore has always pulled everything together after the Christmas break. It was suprising to see the 89 to 50 something score. It seemed that everyone on the team contributed last night, but Pierce stood out with 30 points and a great dunk. The next district game is against Waverly. Cheatham beat Waverly but in my opinion they were just having a good day. If Sycamore plays like they did last night Waverly is in trouble. Sycamore is finally showing potential. MCBB, Yes, our "student section" is pathetic. The parents got into the game more than the kids did. Thank you to all of the parents that helped out. Pierce has gotten offers to play at the next level, but has not decided to go anywhere yet. Fun fact of the day: Pierce is 100% from the 3 line.
