I agree to an extent, but who's to say she would have been amazing in the roughly half of the district schedule she missed? I know, she's an amazing player and she probably would have lit up every game had she not missed some, BUT nobody will ever truly know because she missed half of the district season. I'll be happy if Brandi Brown wins District 7AA MVP, but half of all her votes have to take into consideration how she would have done hypothetically in the other half of the district season. With that said, I'm not so sure about "equal turf." But I'm also not a head coach in District 7AA, so my opinion doesn't count for much...

If it's AA #1 vs. A #1 based on AP rankings, then AA would easily win at least 7/8. I said in an earlier post that AA would probably win all eight, but one can never bet on 100% clean sweep. Random draw, though, sounds fun... But as for AAA vs. AA, I think it's that same as AA vs. A ... And I don't think A's top 8 would win any vs. AAA's top 8...

If it is structured as: AA #1 vs. A #8 ... A #1 vs. AA #8 ... Then A could win one or two of the eight games. But if it's AA #1 vs. A #1, AA would probably sweep all eight games.

Will the Hume-Fogg girls be at the state tournament? Only if they buy tickets... I better be careful with that "joke," it's an antique...
