  1. First of all Maryville killed Loudon at maryville....it wasnt even close, and your so called "superstar" did play some, he may have not played the whole game like you would have needed him too but hi did play some. Also, yall got beat by Lenoir City? Maryville played at lenoir city and beat them like dogs. Maryville was up 20 at halftime. So dont flatter yourself tooten your own horn.
  2. hahahahah...that actually makes me laugh Tnvols23, last time i checked Maryville beat Alcoa last time they played so i dont know where you get this crap about the best team in the county. Also, didnt Alcoa lose to Loudon. Sorry to break it to ya but Loudon wasnt very good this year. How many times has alcoa lost this year? Last time i heard it was 3. Maryville, Austin East, and Loudon. Maryville beat loudon twice. How many losses does maryville have? Yea the answer would be two. Alcoa might have been the best that night, but obbviously not the other night they played when maryville came oout on top.
  3. I dunno crkjon, this years freshman had it at every position. Also, about Tank Baker....He's definately a running back, if you saw how you humiliated teams you would understand why.
  4. Can't wait for Maryville to play Alcoa.....they always have some pretty good games.....Also, i think you left out one of ALcoa's best player, Daniel Sullivan looked really good last time i wastched them play.
  5. The maryville freshman ended up 7-0 with a game against greenback rained out. Mo west had some big boys but i think the final score was 42-0. Their ddefense is awesome...with the most points scored on them in a game is 14. Their running back is awesome....adrian baker, would have had way over 1,000 yards if they would have kept the 1st team in more than the 1st half. The teams maryville beat were Alcoa, William Blount, Powell, Heritage, Mo west, Halls, and Carter. Did Db freshman play any of those teams?
  6. ive heard this from a few people and i clouldn't believe it......does anybody know anything?
  7. lol....you thought that was cade?
  8. I agree with you medman.....but in football heart will take yu a long way, so i would have to go with McCord.
  9. hahaha....no work ethic? I would call getting up at 5 in the mornin all summer to wotk out a pretty good work ethic. Dee has everything you want in a linebacker: ability to read, speed, and most of all, discipline. also i dont know where in the world you got tackle after player when he has 67 tackles this year and 32 solo.
  10. hahahaha....looks like this back fired on ya, maybe next time a little more respect for the 3 time defending state champions will help?
  11. Last time I checked Maryville treated DB like dogs in the scrimmage this year...get your facts straight first there bud.
  12. haha nice rebelraider.....I pick Maryville 24-28 in this one.
  13. neither...hes not goin to go the either school....they are staying in california
  14. Actually it was Tyler Maples..........I make that mistake too. Tyler had a couple of catches on offense, one with a nice run, and returned two KO's I believe. He struggled at corner getting burned a couple of times.....one for a TD. Tyler is just a freshman so he is learning but his athletic ability was evident and it is no fluke that he is running 2nd team at WR. Would't be suprised to see Tyler starting at WR next year and playing alot at DB. I thought Adrian Baker looked the best out of the Freshamn. As has been previously reported he is already benching 265 and is very quick and low to the ground. Adrian made a great run on the 25 yard TD and showed his quickness - tackle breaking ability - and speed. I also thought Jon Lawhon looked very good at RB. Since his youth days Jon has gotten taller and slimmed down. His speed is also much beter. He was impressive tonight. Great to see some of the future MHS stars last night.
