toobadtoosad, I hope you got your miranda rights read to you before you made the confession.
  2. I think irishdad is at clock keepers remedial school.

David Vance and George Lewis were two fine and talented athletes at McCallie, weren't they? Also, since when do the parents get a new car based on a students ability to...uhhh....never mind, I forgot about Lebron James.

Gov.....I think there is no speculation as to why Bradley does not schedule two of the private schools in Chattanooga. The coach has been pretty clear, at least as to what I know of his reasons. Walkenvol....I don't think that the head coaches of those teams do the ground work of talking with potential kids to come into their programs, but those associated with the programs, either boosters, parents, alumni wrestlers, etc. do. The argument may seem lame, but is it?

Sommers, Let me say I apologize for having fun with you, but it is a slow day at the chicken house and I have nothing better to do now that the feed has been spread out. But I am wondering if you work for Arthur Andersen and you gave advice to the Enron guys on their off the balance sheet companies?? Great analogy, and I am only kidding with you.

uncfan13, I have no problem with the McCallie coach doing what ever he thinks prepares his team best to achieve their goals. I was responding to the post that made an statement about preparing the number 1 team and D2 schools. I used McCallie as an example because I think there is a track record there in regards to what kind of McCallie team might show up. What ever line up the McCallie coach thinks is best for them, no problem, that's his job and he seems to get a pretty darn good result. But my comment was about preparing the Bradley team. The rest of you statement has been addressed by someone else.

If I were in Bradley's shoes, I would be real, real careful in match with McCallie. You may get out there and prepare and then they bring their JV team or forfeit several weights. How would that prepare your team for the post season?

  9. I always become a little bit of a conspiracy person when whole post are changed by their author. Was there a guy on the grassy knoll or not?
  10. Do you think they are drawing colored straws then?
  11. Well, just so we are clear, it does not say what type of draw it is. Your right that it does not mention "blind draw". But is also does not exclude it either. K?
  12. The blind draw would only serve to let a team that was not talented enough to reach the finals without having to prove it in the traditional way, beat those seeded higher. I know the issue is that it is being touted as a blind draw, but even with that said it would be a very poor way to run that tournament. just my opinion on it.
  13. Sommers, This is the only time I have ever seen you not answer a question on here. You made me go and do research to find the answer (great web site by the way). I had a thought that this "145" , as everyone was referring to might be a little close to home. After all the posts that came from your way regarding the refs, do you think they were coming after your guys? Also, someone called you "coach sommers", did you get a new job? lol, just kidding here.
  14. Soms, So which two wrestlers were involved in the "illegal move"?
  15. Messenger, It's not inuendo walkenvol said it. In fact thats why I brought walkenvol's previous post back up. Read the Chattanooga Times/Free Press and McCallie's coach was quoted regarding this. It seems to be what walkenvol was talking about in his earlier post. That's all. I'm just waiting for walkenvol to comment.

They were no more than 2 ft behind me screaming like it was the Super bowl..Before we even got to that match I had stopped and ask them to move back to no avail.. It is over and done ..So if you still need to beat me up have at it...

We take the bleachers, split them and turn them to where they face one another. This puts you mere feet away from the action it also closes in the crowd. Making the noise level rise. No one has a bad view. At a past match Mr and Mrs Simpson sat in the middle of the mat at the far end. Thus they were not favoring either son or grandsons. It is gonna be a war!!!!!!!!!!
  18. this feels like the guy in Chicago who made Alou miss the foul ball catch. Most hated fan in Chi-town now, even though he was a HUGE fan of the Cubs. Bad things man.
  19. the math does not add up to a win, even with the call.
  20. Walkenvol, Did you read the Times-FreePress article today by David Jenkins, titled "Challenge matches keep teammates on their toes". Interesting article in that it kind of mirrors some of the comments you brought up in you post earlier on this thread. Great article, by the way. Time-FreePress did a good job this morning.
  21. Where is that vocal irishdad? I am interested in hearing his "take" on running the clock, or if in fact he was running the clock. Based on his alliance he proclaims on this message board, in the future a less fanatic (a positive connotation) person should run the clock. No, I was not there and I am only speaking from what has been posted here so far.
  22. I saw Joe wandering around down on Market Street by Ross's Landing, looking at his shoes and talking to his invisable friend. But not at Moc. Bend.
  23. BayouBear, I would like your opinion on what you think Coach Henry can do to bump around his line up to make up 21 points. This I gotta hear, I mean read.
