Thank you Red Robin, I understand what is considered cheating and what is not. A few years ago I vetted my knowledge to a well know Baylor friend of mine to share the exact name and student athlete in question. Was it a one time transgression? I do not know. There is zero jealously regarding my comments, I do not care. I am okay with any manner in which a student gets to a private or public program. Students should not be owned by the schools, they should always be able to choose where they want to attend, at any time during their education and for any reason they want. That is just an opinion, not held by hardly any that I know of.

I could care less where someone goes to school, I am happy that they may get the opportunity to attend a private school. It has nothing to do with the kid and everything to do with the coach. If it is about education, then who care about the extracurricular events like sports. My only point is that is happens, that is all.

what do we call it when an alumni of one of the private schools pays for the exceptional athlete to attend the school for no out of pocket tuition? not a "scholly" which I interpret to mean scholarship and not financial aid, we call it full ride.

I think we should go ahead and check with coach Smith and see if he can go ahead and let you be champs, since you won last week and you want to live in the past. You do realize last week was a dual tourney and this week was not. Maybe the coaches will vote FR down a few notches since your panties seem to be not untwisted yet. i bet coach simpson is not making the excuses of who he choose to put in the lineup. It would seem far less sanctimonious if this comment had come before the Cleveland Dual competition than after the fact when the results are known. To play a victim card of bias now is like a Monday morning QB situation.
