  1. great link, aspen! should be required reading for everyone, including wrestlers, coaches and parents.
  2. papbear3 is right about it being early. everyone will have a better feel in january where the wrestlers will fall out in their respective lineups. ridgeway looks pretty set and handled westside easily. anyone know if williams from westside will stay at 52 or go to 45? where's lozie? interested to see how bolton fares at blackhorse since no one has seen them.
  3. well, you just gave yourself away and i'm feeling stupid for not figuring it out until now. see you tomorrow night. good luck because your going to need it. GO D-1.
  4. visionquest, if you know your history, brothers is the best d2 team here as long as anyone can remember. i only know the marables will probably win. then if i know what other wrestlers are at what weights then i could predict the margin of victory for c'ville, or possibly ridgeway and bartlett, whenever they wrestle head to head. not trying to talk smack, just stating reality.
  5. hey mr. visionquest, i'm not a c'ville guy but we'll see what happens 1/13/04 at the duels between c'ville and brothers. next, if you do any research on the topic, b.o.t.w. is too classy to admit it but d1 would school d2 in a head to head matchup, overall, not only at the state level but region individual level. let's take this region for instance, after the marables and a fluke match here or there, region 8 would win by a double digit margin. and oh yes, the d1 schools can't even recruit.
  6. you're right b.o.t.w., i understand sharp has worked hard and shouldn't have drawn that conclusion. however, i still stand by my baker prediction. by the way, is there anywhere that c'ville has a schedule posted? i know the brothers, houston, ridgeway, g'town and some others have websites.
  7. the only changes i would make for region 8 would be minkin will go 145 or 152. he was sucked out at g'town to make 140 but was 152 at ridgeway. barnett is walking around at 142 or 143 walking around, so look for him at 140. baker will be a solid 125 and my bet is he will not lose a match to anyone from this region unless he wrestles up for a duel. fryman is streaky and will go down as the last wrestler in the region to beat baker. he should do well at 35. sharp will flee whatever weight borneman is at and will do well but you'll always wonder what if????????? c'ville appears to be the class of the region followed by ridgeway and houston from the same district. bartlett is alone at the top of the other side. it reminds me of the nba and how the west dominates the east. however, if the planets align, it's a full moon, etc., etc., who knows what might happen !!!!!!!
  8. Ben went to the G'town football game Friday night so he missed the first rounds but was there Sat. to cheer his guys. Drew was at 35, suffered a slight concussion and injury defaulted before the consolation finals. You guys are right about Ridgeway and Bartlett looks good, too.

    152

Is Borneman going to make 152????? I saw him this weekend and he obviously dropped alot of weight to get to sixty this weekend. He was sluggish, slow, and wasn't finishing moves like last year. His parents have a lot of influence and they will not let him drastically cut weight like last year. Look for him at 71.
