There was not a cuss word said to the white hat. There was an argument about about a call that was so off the wall and not explained. After viewing film still not substantiated. The call was offensive pass interference, no contact made by either team which caused the Vikings to miss a scoring opportuinity. Any coach worth his salt will question that type of call. And that is all it was a question to the official who didn't want to explain his call, or the call.

From experience your kid has a better shot if you are in the final 4 teams in your class at the state playoffs.

Two teams hungry for first regional victory, should be a battle.

These types of tragedies are becoming way too frequent. I buried an ex-player a couple of years back and it tears you up inside. PLease feel my heart felt sentiments. May god be with the family. team and coaching staff.

If the Vikings come to play it will be a good night, if they play like they did last week it will be a long night.

I am not a fan of womens boxing, but Million Dollar Baby was a gut wrencher. It was all about guts, desire, and passion to win.

Portland @ Northwest?

NW has been to the playoffs two years running and put big numbers up on several people. NW is 1-1 and is looking to improve to 2-1 this week. This is under a staff that has truely only had 3 coaches on staff the past 3 years.

Kick-off is at 2:00 pm est.

McGavock is not and has never been a pushover, KW has their work cut out for them. School enrollment over 2000.

haven't seen Creekwood, if they have any speed or a good passing attack station campwill have a problem.

Both good FB teams but tradition wins out, Dickson by a TD.

The fumbles and the LB's performance are being addressed this week, numerous drills and poor tackling are the focal point of practice. Any opionions about the rest of the teams in the region and how they will fair.

Northwest has a long day ahead of them on Saturday, leaving at 6 am and playing at 2 in the heat and then driving home. Hope they take advantage of rest time on the bus. We will pore the fluids to them along with the fruit to aid in keeping the cramps away. Good luck and hope both team come away injury free. Go mighty Vikings.

Defense is young on game experience but came up big last Friday when we needed it. Everyone picked us a 14 point underdog and it makes great bullitin board material, keep it coming.

Temperature conditioning and 2 platooning will play a roll in the heat, the team with gas left in the 4th quarter will win.

NW will win by a TD NE will win big. CHS ? Kenwood ? MC wins.

After playing my first week 0 game, I'm just glad to win it. The game comes so fast that there is hardly time to prepare everything. NW 22 SC 14 whew.

Minor mistakes and turnovers kept the Vikings from putting up large numbers on offense. The Viking's looked good and have a win under their belt, and hopefuly a much needed confidence boost.
