Well I take this loss as a slap in the D I C K . That was terrible, our crowd was even quiet. I guess we just need to go home and cry since we lost to and Underated 3-A team. Yea, you know what ? Ya'll are still dumb , we are still better.I dont care what the score was, you just can't take this something from us, Know what that is?? OUR PRide , we will fight you till the end!! We we're some soldiers last night, The Gynasium was against us and we still kept fighting. I had the picture of World War II during this game. I am so ready for the Tournament! We now have something to prove. I do have something to say for Ya'll, You SHould be Rated ! And with that we took everything you gave us on the chin. I am proud of our boys , even though we lost , we are still a 20 win team! Better than we have had in a while. All I say to Lawrence County is, Bring that **** on! Oh yes we are Still HERE

When we roll in through the hills of Hickman County we are always looking to give out some #### kickings.In every sport it is a town embarassment to lose to Hickman County, we have had this rivalry for years in every sport you can think of. Oh yes we want this one ,and we want it BAd, there is no other place i would rather be than in Hickman County Gymnasium tomorrow night. I would like to see first hand the St. Valentine's Day massacre on the poor Puppy Dawgs! In the words of Dustin Culberson ," It's Time to get CRUNK!"

Throughout the land people fear the date of Friday the Thirteenth;Hickman will have fear put into the by the Mighty Panthers! Creasy's a shooting , Sparky's a dunking , Melton's a diving , and Duberson is getting Crunk! OH MY!!!! We are ready for this game . Fans and players will bring out their best stuff for this long - time rivalry. After an embarassment of a game for the Panthers earlier this year, this will be fuel added to the fire. Lewis County takes on Page tomorrow night as a warm up to the game. As I said in another post fans will be bringing their Jugs, MEGAbones , and seat cushions for the barnburner that is going to take place in Hickman Co. My prediction: Lewis:64 Hickman :58 Oh and yes the fans will be chanting R E Tard , OHHHHHHH LOL see ya there Hicks!

The two fans that were making fun of Scottie, should be put on a stage and have rocks thrown unmercifully at their faces. There is no reason for anyone to say anything about that man. He is a gentle spirit, burdened with a disability that cannot be helped. This shows boundless amounts of immaturity on the behalf of the two fans. Also, this puts a bad face on the rest of the town, school, and student body. I know our town isn't perfect but I will have to say we treat everyone with respect. In addition to this I will have to say that there are some great people from Perry County and I am sure that they are not at all like the two boobs who embarrassed their town. To the game: Lewis County got off to a very slow start and were sluggish until a wake up call during halftime. Lucas Curfman has proved to be the backbone time and time again; even with a UN Lucas like performance he still led the team with 18. The unsung hero for the game was none other than Dustin Culberson, yea the big guy who can't dunk! He hustled on every play. Adding to the mix was Michael Creasy his shot was particularly off that night but, pulled through when he was needed most. I believe Lewis County needs to turn it up a notch for the game this Friday against another Rival, HICK MAN county. Hickman gave Lewis County a hurtful loss not too long ago, which the Panthers still remember. Bring your jugs, megaphones, headsets, and seat cushions for Friday. Looks like another Barnburner baby!!!

On February 13,2004 the Lewis County Panthers will travel to the hills of Hickman County.That night the Panthers are looking to take revenge on the Bulldogs after blowing a 19-0 lead in the first game.Lewis County will come to Hickman County looking to put a hurting on the ole Bulldogs.There is something to be said about Lewis County when they are mad,they will more than likely bring the entire town with them and will most likely come out swinging.Lewis County hasn't been an underdog very much this year,nor have they been upset at their own place.I will Look for Lewis County to show their best stuff,they will pull out all of the tricks for this one, I am sure people will get their 5 dollars worth.This Thread is for Hickman and Lewis Fans only!!! I would also like to hear some predictions for this game, and also bear in mind that Lewis County still has Page and Cross county Rival PERYY COUNTY, I think thats how they spell it.LOL

Tonight Lewis County played against newcomers from Creekwood.Lewis looked good defensively, but still lack in the offensive rebounding and outside shots.Creekwood put up the good fight in the first quarter ,but were held to 4 points in the second with Lewis County leading by 12 at halftime. Lewis County came out brawling for the second night in a row, but was still unnoticed by the fans behind them. Although, overpowerd by the gloom in the air, put out by Lewis County's student section, Sparkman failed on 4 oop attemps.At the middle of the 4th the Panthers then put in their Junior Varsity Team who did exceptionally well, who really showed their inexperience. Lewis won 53-29. The more important issue to be raised in this post is the STUDENT section. Lewis County has NO support from them; Mr. Tatum might as well roll in wax Dummies in place of our fans, the dummies would most likely be LOUDER. This is pathetic, if you were to take a poll on the worst cheering sections in Tennessee, Lewis would be right there in the top 5 at the moment. When Waynesboro came here, Lewis had 2 Students with the Wayne County section, CHEERING FOR THEM. Tonight the only RAY OF SUPPORT CAME FROM 2 BORED band MEMBERS, if you aren't going to raise heck out there, don’t sit with the section, I would much rather have some BAND members sitting there who will cheer. This post will be considered an invitation to Mr. Luna to bring in the LUNA LUNATICS! Maybe the will chant DEFENSE when we are down by 1 with less than 30 seconds to go. I would love to see some improvement before the district tournaments.

Tomorrow night Lewis County Panthers will host the Wayne County Wilcats.The Panthers are looking to go 14-3 in the regular season and being 7-0 versus 1-a teams.The Panthers defeated the Wildcats earlier in the year , but the Wildcats had much room to improve,and most likely did. The Panthers are Lead by the wonderful play of their starting Forward,Luke Curfman, he is one of the main reasons Lewis County has stayed on track this season.His hard work and devotion to the team has really paid off and more than usually leads the team in points and rebounds,only being 6-3 this is a pretty tall task to handle. Jeff Sparkman has dominated the inside with fundamental post play and fierce defensive games.But he hasnt really been dunking as a 6-9 center with a vertical over 38 inches , should be.Micheal Creasy has shown sparks of GREATNESS bu hass a couple of off nights and hasn't been confident shooting the 3-pointers.The last but certainly not least reason why Lewis County has been winning is the sufficating defensive hustle put on by Adam Melton,he hustles on ever play and has held some great players to single digits this season.But tomorrow night the Panthers will not only have to rely on their players, but on the Loudness of the fans. I would like to say in ending , Go Panthers and if you are a fan of lewis county or a student of LCHS come on out and scream your head off at the WEAK WILDCATS.

I would like to say one thing, I am proud of Lewis County's former players and students forming a union of fans for the team,this shows great loyalty and respect for your town and your team. Nothing against Lewis County, I hear they have a great team, but they are getting Giles County 5 games into the season. They have had 2 tough losses in Alabama. They will face Spring Hill on Tuesday, which will be a blow out and a primer for the Columbia game on Friday night. I think if Lewis County had been first on the GC schedule, then Lewis County could walk away with a win from Giles County. (posted by Krogers) I have a little something to say . Whats harder to come off of, 1 loss to a great team,or 2 games in two different nights. The main reason why I ask which is harder is that every weakness is exposed.We don't even have to be there we have fans telling us what went wrong with your team in the games,your own fans.I know everyone is tired of hearing this but ,Lewis Co. lost a good player this past year,but not our Best player, we still have alot of depth and alot of talent. Jeff Sparkman has improved greatly by going to 3 camps this summer and early school year,Luke Curfman is still the hardest working man in 2a basketball,and improves each and every day.This just may be the Lewis County team takes a district title away from Tyler Smith and Company.But the future looks a little bleak if Lewis County plays like they did against Chester. They have started to play much more as a team of late,but still have much more room for improvement. I see this Lewis County team Improving with every game , and will throughout the season.Last year we saw the same thing when th Panthers went on an 11 game winning streak that lifted them into second place in the district losing only to Giles. The other thing I want to do ont the message board is give a wake up call to the Lewis County Student/ Cheering section: WAKE UP< you are dead out there!The only bit of life there was in the Wayne County game was the Wayne fans, they fired us up,when a coach kicks a point gaurd for falling on him after diving for a loose ball recieves a Technical and the Fans BOO the refs for calling it.Those are some fired up fans! We need the same supprt everyone else we have played recieves. We Desperately need some support, BRING OUT THE TERRIBLE TOWELS if you please.The last thing I would like to say , for all those criticizing Coach Johnson. Well Well Well, The first thing I would like to address to all of the fans on coach t. If there is one thing you can take to the bank during playoff time,is that all the other games before this,DONT MEAN CRAP, I would put my life saving on that.Fairview was expected to lose by about 50 that year,and guess what? ya'll ran your mouths, got beat, and cryed all the way home.But you did leave some dignity on the field. YOU DIDN'T BLAME THE LOSS ON A BAND!!!! like Mckenzie did you crybabies.I can't believe someone got on here and whined about the stinking Band. Back on topic , Huntingdon will not blow out Lewis Co. The stats show that Lewis and Huntingdon both have very good defenses,who are avering almost the same stats.I haven't seen a Lewis Co. defense this good since the 95 ' team.This will be a defensive Ballgame . Daniel Hull will have 14 tackles and 3 sacks. Coach Sharp will again prove why he is the best coach in Lewis County history . There is only One Complete Defensive Coordinator,and from what i hear Coach Pack is the one who makes Sharp throw the ball.Another thing why are you Criticizing your fellow fans after YOU WON THE GAME???? Seems you must be mad about something,and from the 80% of your posts coming from the Basketball Board,you must be or was a basketball Player. Seems like you should just sit there and SHUT-UP.Because when I make a post , I make sure I know for sure what I am talking about,and from these two posts,neither of you are FOR SURE about what you are saying,besides who is to say that Panther26 wasn't talking about the defensive Playcalling???? We are looking great this year,we lost our disease of a player Tim Watson this week because of his need to break Coach Johnson's rules. Also, Sparky isn't tearing the rims down I AM. We Scrimmaged Waverly yesterday and led by 15 at one point,then we started to try new stuff and ended up losing by 2. We should have a very good team and we are starting to come together as a team.This Monday Renob Mcdonald was welcomed back to the team ,he was suspended for use of Tobacco. He will be able to practice with us again and give me some waterbottles during games with a Jersey on ,instead of street clothes
