Just found out that Morristown West has scheduled Knox Catholic AND Science Hill for next year to replace Swain County and Knox West..

Well, like others have said, 13-1 is quite a season. Didn't take it as far as the Trojan Nation had hoped, but they represented Morristown well..I have been fortunate enough to see West go 41-13 in my four years at West, and my last two years, we have went 26-2..That speaks for itself. Congratulations to Maryville..They deserve every single win they've had and I wish them luck next week. This will be my last football post, however. Football season is over, and next fall I will be a Vol, so I will not continue to give an input into HS Football. TROJAN NATION!

Still not sure what your vengeful vendetta is against West...But either way, good luck to the Pats next year..I hope they win every game except for the MoWest one.

Well I got to go to the game and here's my POV: West came out trying to establish the pass. Yes, I believe this was a good idea. From what I've seen of Maryville, their Defense is VERY fast to get to the ball, so in order to beat them, you've got to run up the gut, or pass...They were probably expecting the first of the two, so West comes out passing...Which did not work...the run did work in the 2nd half and I'm glad we got some points on the board. Maryville's offense was good, but their defense is what won that game for them..The turnovers they caused in the first half and stopping the Trojan air game kept them in front early. I would have loved to have seen my Trojans win, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Good luck to the Rebels as they bring home another gold ball. They deserve it.

Until they get beaten by another IMAC team, West will be top dog.

Actually..MoWest DOES have enough to beat Maryville...ALOT of teams have enough to beat Maryville...It's just using the "enough" and executing without making mistakes...MoWest can beat Maryville and Friday night will be a good game. GO TROJANS!

Mowest 17 Maryville 14 TROJAN NATION! I'll be there cheering on my Trojans.. I was also told, though, that administration was informed that West was not allowed to have flags at the game...Anyone know if there is truth to this?

Well, I just got in from Chicago and have gotten to read up on the East/West game and read about this weeks game..It will be close and I'll make my first trip to Maryville's football field....It should be a good game. GO TROJANS!

The person who announces West football was given the previous Maryville/Rhea Co. score and he would not announce it unless it was conffirmed..It was confirmed (WRONGLY, though), by TWO radio stations....

Number 44 is my debate partner, JJ Sims..A GREAT guy and an awesome football player. After the homecoming game earlier in the year, he rode all the way to Winston Salem, NC for a forensics tournament...He's an all around good guy.

The top 5A team Vs. the top private team? Maryville, Morristown West, Alcoa, and others could handle most 5A schools..

It will matter, but not like it does now. I'll want West to win..But if they don't, it won't bother me as much as it does now...And I doubt i'll have any time for West games since I'll be in Knoxville all year, with class and hopefully traveling with the Vol faithful to away games.

County Commission meets are quite interesting..But it doesn't really matter to me after this season, since next year you will be able to see me on TV painted orange and white sitting in the Orange Nation, just like I did for the West games this year..

Well by the time the school got built, no one would be alive that went to the middle school, so it wouldn't matter what the team name is... But it's never gonna happen.
