Sequatchie will have to play the best game we have played this year. Ball security is a concern to me and being a better 2nd half team is something we need to improve on. If we win this game we will have to play 4 quarters of intense football and minimize Midway's big play potential. Coach Barger needs to bring back the gold pants and play Sequatchie football!!!! Satterfield was rumored to have been offered job 3-4 years ago and declined. Cumberland will have a hard time finding a coach for the $$$$$ they pay.

Bill I think you should tell us who the head coach will be. A week ago you knew who it was. Your good source must not have been as good as you thought. You are obviously from Dunlap (or close by) so why do you want to be so negative? If you want the truth about the whole situation I would be glad to discuss it via PM's. The salary is a huge obsticale when trying to hire any coach at any of the valley schools. We have great facilities, good kids and a growing community. If the salary was competitive at all there would have been twice as many applicants and the job would already be filled.

Nope, just trying to tell you the truth about the situation without the rumors. My candidate was offered the job and declined Tuesday. Had a meeting yesterday. Nothing even close to a done deal.

Unfortunately the job was turned down by Coach Fritts about a week ago. Apllications are being accepted at this time. The weight room is open and assistant coaches Barger and Dyer are running it.

Sequatchie Co. has the nicest stadium in the Chattanooga area hands down!
