  1. After the Indians and Tigers both lost on the road by big margins, who will rebound heading into Week 1?
  2. I must say, either York is really good this year or we are in for one more ride. No doubt losing all the graduates hurt us. We have a really young team, so I can't put much blame on anybody as it comes with the territory. I do wish we would throw it more as running it all the time becomes too predictable, but I've always said that. I still look forward to how this year progresses, as well as the next 2 years. The reverse option for the touchdown was beautifully executed, but unfortunately, it was our only real highlight. York's speed looked to be superior to ours as #20 could fly down the field. I do love how he was home free until he fumbled the ball into the endzone at our 2 yard line. I'm still not sure how he did that. Something tells me he'll remember that fumble for the rest of his high school career.
  3. Here's to hoping the weather stays away!
  4. Is there gonna be enough seats for all the Sequatchie faithful? Or is this gonna be one of those CCS deals where you need to bring your own chair?
  5. You better just hope they don't eat too much cornbread
  6. Who you got in this Week Zero matchup?
  7. Game was pretty boring until they finally started passing the ball in the 2nd half. Sequatchie looked flat in the first half, but looked a lot better in the 2nd. Only thing Meigs had going for them was the running game until Sequatchie finally took that away. Passing game was bad, and their special teams was a joke. Sequatchie's pass defense is dangerous. The secondary looks like they have glue in their gloves with all the picks they come away with. If Sequatchie can play like they have in the 2nd half for the past 2 games, the rest of the season is looking up.
  8. Well somebody blocked one, but it was called back with no flag and the play was done again
  9. Anyone know why they took away the punt block during one of the games? I think it was the SP vs Marion game. Didn't know if this was a jamboree rule or not because I also noticed they weren't trying to block XP attempts.
  10. I think we will win the district, but Lockhart and Barker can't be the only ones that really make this team click. They are going to need the other players to emerge onto the scene like Lockhart and Barker have. They also need to make fewer mistakes and discontinue the sloppy play like they had tonight. I know its early, but if the team wants to consider having a good playoff run, improvements will need to be made before facing teams outside of their district.
  11. Correction: the score was 66-25. I thought ball handling was very sloppy by Sequatchie. The score should probably have a wider margin if it wasn't for that as East Ridge looked horrible.
  12. Close win by Cleveland last year, 40-39. How will this year's game go?
