Bama, I am pretty sure there is no chance the DL student section for GP will rival the ones from the last two years. I have only been to one game, which was a blowout, but I was still dissapointed in the showing. Just because the team is that good, or the teams they play are that bad, does not mean you shouldnt show up and support(especially in the regular season when it was free.) The Jr. class this year in my opinion is spoiled. They have seen a State Champ, a runner up, and a grand total of 4 losses. The majority of the best spirited people in the SR. class are on the field so they have an excuse. The fresh and sophs are just nonexistant. The last three years the away crowds at games like Houston Co. were double the size of DL's playoff home crowds. Something is wrong with that. This is not a dig at you, more a collective dig at the students as a whole. I hope that the rest of the playoffs they are better than DL has ever seen. They will need it against Alcoa, that is if they win this week. 2Aguru called out the parents, ths really just a lost cause. I have never seen a worse group of alumni/parents at any school. The only reason they would be standing up is to go to the bathroom or concession. Anyway...this really isnt all on subject, but should be an area of concern. As a graduate, it is somewhat embarassing to see such a weak student body.

That is true. However, Turner, if he came to UT would have a ton of talent at the WR position to compete against with Meachum, Swain, and Smith all being Sophs this year. UT is finally getting some decent players at the WR position. I really just don't want to see Turner in a Gator uniform.

Expert, let me be the first to welcome you back. It's great to hear some opinions of people east of Nashville. Doesnt get much better than playoff football in the hills. Hopefully Tyner can knock off GP and DL can then beat Tyner, and then betst case scenario the Stangs knock off another East Tn. team from Rocky Top, the Alcoa Tornadoes.

Word on the plains is that this thread is the talk GHS. A source who wishes to remain anonymous says he believes 'it's the DL losers' doing this.

If you are serious, we appreciate the shout out. Its dissapointing that the Bomb Squad probably wont ever be how it was last year. All of the main members have graduated and have moved on to bigger and better things. Hopefully this years senior class can give their team as good of support as last year. Good luck to the Mustangs this year.

Oh, and by the way. I really doubt Pigg is gettin allt he great girls, much less stealing them. I think the passive verb will work better here. Girls are being stolen from him.
