what does all this about monograms and shotguns have to do with football friday night? last i checked this messageboard is about Oneida vs. CAK. and another thing...dont get me wrong cak fans, but from reading this post it sounds like you all owned coalfield last friday, but if i remember correct. it was 49-49 in the 4th quarter. And then some turnovers in your direction are what made the final 70-49. so dont get all cocky goin to oneida this friday. because this friday is a heck of alot bigger than last friday. so you better show up to play, or your all gonna be goin home sad.

well i thought that they were going to be in 2a, and they are not talked about in any posts about A football. but i think they are still competing in A football this season. their schedule doesn't have any AA teams on it. and on knoxpreps.com they are ranked in A region 2.

i remember there being some controversy about private schools in A football. I was curious if CAK was moved to AA for this season or if moved at all?

well...it looks like cak wont be pulling off a last second win in this one. they've met the real deal and found somebody that can put them away. best of luck to boyd. and congrats to all the cak boys on a great season, and an amazing playoff run. to all the seniors on the team. keep your heads up.

The field that used to be the soccer field is now the football field. they made another soccer field accross campus. they have stands now and the track is finished and it is turning into a pretty nice field. i'd say just hair shy of neyland. from what i hear they are bringing in a couple of extra stands for this game. i'd advise everyone to come out to this game. there are a couple of rumors that cak is doin it up for this game.

smithke, i understand your logic in that explanation. but i still dont think that you can justify this point spread people are predicting. the way you explained it makes senese, but it doesn't call for boyd to be a 9 touchdown favorite. as you said any given night any team can win. sounds like boyd is pretty much invinsible. i could describe cak that way too. the fact is, having never seen these two teams play each other you cant match them up. you cant say if caks D will stop Boyds offense. you cant say if Boyds D will stop caks offense. its not possible to tell. you all can think Boyd is the powerhouse that you say they are but im gonna have to see it to believe it. i also agree with what you said about praying for a win. i dont think either team is praying for a win. maybe praying that if its Gods will they will win. and praying for safety.

its nearly impossible for either side of teams to make a prediction on this one. cak fans know near to nothing about this boyd team. and the same goes for boyd fans and the cak team. they havnt competed against each other and they havn't competed against teams that have played each other. i dont think you can write cak off like everyone is doing. i dont doubt that this boyd team is good. but how can you all say it will be a blowout without even seeing cak play.

all this talk about class is rediculous. everygame b.t these two teams is a rivalry. and i guess you could say the lack of class makes it a rivalry. who cares about some taunting or some people talking smakc. thats what makes this rivalry. and if you want to treat a game like this with the utmost class then sit in the stands. its not the class that puts the players on the field. its the want to beat there rival team. these parents are just going to have to figure it out taht the things that go on b.t the two teams will never change. and its what makes this rival good.

yoakley is a junior this year, and hes got great potential to be a star. he hasn't hit his growth spurt yet so im thinking over this off season he'll gain aobut ohhh 6-8 inches 50-100 lbs. hes a stud. as it stands now back up quarterback is a sophomore this year. but then again yoakley was backup qb last season. as for the rest of the team they lose an asset at every position except kicker.

topraymore...i cant talk football when i have the mystery of who you are on my mind. bigchow is not and has never been a cak student so i dont think he knows guitar will. burkhart i assume? i agree with your statement about boyd. i understand they are being built up to be a great team, which i dont doubt. but i too would like for these boyd fans and players to break it down peice by peice. i'd like to know what key players there are. and areas of strength and weakness.

a real class act. thats all i can say. theres nothing i can say about these region 1 and 2 teams 1A football. i honestly thing everyteam could get together as one and not fight. and thats how it should be. cloudland boys way to support the team that need it when it counts. it takes real and true heart to do that. Midway, you boys put up a fight and it takes some true heart to be able to back a team tha beat you into the 4th round playoffs. Greenback, what else can i say. you are a real class act. fans player parents coaching staff. i hope to see you all out at the cak v. boyd game this friday. and hopefully pulling for your local region 2 team. i truly think cak'd be doing the same for you. come on now people. lets get behind our local region 2 team that is left. they need it. i will honestly be dissappointed to hear any smack or trash talk about cak coming from cloudland, midway, or greenback. you know, you can consider ever aspect of the game that you played against cak. but its not gonna change a thing. the real sportsmanlike thing to do is to get behind your local rival team. and cheer for them to take it all the way. and i think it could be a real powerful thing if all these teams got behind cak. and pulled for them all the way.

stan, you are young and extremely ignorant to think that stupid things like what number a new paper comes up with on their caption matter. who really acres what credit cak is given from the news papers or other teams. in reality, to you, no other credit but Gods should matter. stop getting caught up on the stupd things like where credit is given. so what if it was jeremy miller instead of matt miller. you think that really matters to the outcome of the game? focus on the aspects of the game that really matter.
