Meigs was already in the TNT prior to winning the SVC Tourney, so the second place team will fill the spot on the bracket for the SVC winner. So, yes, they will be playing DeKalb.

Congrats to the Meigs girls and their first year coach on winning the SVC regular season and tournament titles. Good luck to both Meigs and Bledsoe in the TNT tourney.

Like I said "I love a good soap opera," and this should be a dandy. I just hope the YBOA coaches don't get their feelings hurt (saying that with my tongue firmly in my cheek).

And you forgot to mention that there are also WV loyalists that teach and coach at Ocoee (which for the record used to be called Bradley Jr. High) and their influence is also quite obvious.

I thought that the class that graduated in 2004 was gonna bring home Central's only state championship (at least that's what I heard on here). They have had the talent to win probably 3 titles and last time I looked they had ZERO. There is such a thing as having tooooo many players.....can't keep em all happy......Central is finding out about that this year and when next years Freshman class gets there it's gonna get REAL interesting. Can't wait to sit back and watch the soap opera.

You are right. It should be a heckuva district tourney. There will be at least one pretty good team on the outside looking in. Seeding will be VERY important. I just hope the Meigs - Central game turns out to be a good game like the last time they met. Went down to the wire.

On the bracket I saw the finals of the TNT is on Sat. Feb. 18th. I know that where Meigs is on the bracket they have to travel over there on the 4th, 11th, and 18th IF they win any.. We have never been so have no idea what to expect from the teams over there. Has Bledsoe ever been ? and, if so, did they compete pretty well over there ??

Surely Dayton girls didn't beat Sequatchie did they ??....Sequatchie must have really been down this year...

What kind of season has Bledsoe had ?....Meigs has lost 2 games, once each to Cleveland and Ocoee (who they also beat).....both losses were by less than 6 points......could have easily won both those games but are a terrible foul shooting team....cost them both games..

I think it should be Meigs vs. Bledsoe in the finals.......Meigs has beat Bledsoe twice already, but it is always hard to beat a team 3 times in the same season...

There is a spot for the SVC champ and since Meigs is already in the tournament, if they happen to win the SVC tourney I think the runnerup gets to go in that spot.

They have not had a good year but they had won their last 4 games and had been playing better. Sequatchie has a good team, though, and it was a good game.

I know Sequatchie boys beat Meigs 30-29 with a 3 pointer at the buzzer.....

Welcome to our district Tyner......if you haven't already learned this let me tell you a little secret. McMinn Central girls never just "LOSE", there is always an excuse. The TSSAA has cost them 2 or 3 state titles by putting them in a "tough" bracket.

Bledsoe is a much improved team since the first of the season. Do you know how bad they lost when they played Chilhowee ?...

Well, we here at Meigs Co. have never been and are really looking forward to the trip. Wish it was all in one weekend, though, because if we happen to win we have to drive over there 3 straight Saturdays, a 4 hr. drive. I noticed on the bracket where White Co. would play 3 days in a row if they win.....how did that happen ??....Just curious

Meigs girls beat Whitwell 46-6......could have been MUCH worse if that's believable... Meigs Co. girls play the winner of Jasper and Rhea Central. Does Jasper have a good team ?? We have played Rhea Central twice.
