Farragut is not going to "miss out" on a great coach. Joe Knox and Kerry Ferguson have done a fantastic job with a young team for two years now. Also, they are not leaving after they graduate; they both care about the Farragut program very much and are staying on as coaches. Let's give them the credit they deserve. I have never spoken with this new coach, and I don't know if he is a good coach or not. However, I don't think we should sell Joe and Kerry short in favor of someone to whom very few of us have even spoken.

Farragut's 145 is back and practicing and will be healthy in plenty of time for the region tournament

Ronnie Carter has no jurisdiction. TSSAA wrestling handbook says that each region decides its champion in whatever way the region coaches/teams decide. Fwc00 is right. A criteria should have been agreed upon beforehand.
