I have worked in Warren Co for twenty years and one of the problems is they split their youth program into two leagues. They have a "travel" league and a city league, why so much division? The middle school program is usually pretty good though, I have heard they just stop playing in high school? Really sad a school this size can't field a better sports program.

MTCS has gotten a couple kids in that look pretty good, I think they will be pretty good and will contend for title.

I agree, but was an Eagle myself and have been for quite some time now. But since my oldest has had his last high school game and my youngest is a Champ, I will work on changing it. C Pope said he would call everyone about the game but we haven't heard anything yet. I would say they will have it but who knows.

Millleville scored all 16 in the 4th quarter. Good win for Tullahoma, and Shelbyville needs to play some D at crunch time. Definitely livened up the district.

Not a lot of size at Cascade either, but a lot of speed and quickness. Fairly deep too, which helps to play the pressure D they did last night!

Cascade looked good last night against Van Buren Co. When they picked up the intensity and the pressure easy baskets started coming. They seem a little undisciplined, but I think that is getting used to the football guys getting back and everyone meshing together. Should be a good season.

Jo Byrns is much better than you think, obviously. Their defense will not allow them to be run ruled, although TC might win.

I thought it was a good game with a lot of emotion. Cascade is going to have to learn to control themselves better or it could really come back and bite us later. The refs will always be a factor in high school, and I thought Jacob did a good job of calming his offense down and executing. 7 for CA is the real deal, he looked like Tebow out there, and played his heart out.

That would be a great plan, probably too late in the week to get it going though. I am not sure there is room or the stuff they need in the Cascade booth but it would be great to get the boys on the radio.

WC has had a good season for the talent they have, you give me 10 quality players now and a team I will make. That's a silly statement!

I would say if called correctly it would be 0-0 at the half, still hard to win without scoring points.

Muschamp is the one I keep hearing but Texas' D is barely ranked in the top 50. Isn't that his charge or no? I just hope whomever they get can do better than the top 3 all time in win percentage for active coaches. That means they will have to get above Paterno or Bowden since they are the only two above Fulmer. Good luck.

Why would it be a WC when both seeds are the same?

According to the brackets the bottom teams have the home game in the 3rd and 4th rounds. I remember an undefeated Riverdale having to go to Cookeville a few years ago under this scenario. I could definitely be wrong but this is the way I understand it.

Cascade must do better on special teams in the playoffs. I have been to the Eagleville and WHH games and they didn't stay in their lanes well. I am sure the coaches are working hard to correct this. We have been with the Carkuffs for a few years now until they went to Cascade. Jacob has really matured since getting there and runs the offense great. He has been in command the two games we have watched and his attitude seems to flow to the other players. Not looking ahead, but if all goes well Cascade has to go back to Jo Byrns in the third round, totally stupid but oh well. Good luck everyone!

I am new to both regions and Cascades skill players are as fast as any team I have watched all year and we have been in 4A ball. I am not sure if CA lineman can outrun Cascades but I find it hard to believe CA is faster. Maybe as fast, but not faster. Should be a good ballgame from what everyone is saying!

Cascade was clicking last night, and if they continue to play that way we will be tough to beat. I hope 4 is ok, would be sorely missed if he is out.

The parents of the team are treating the team win or not. Tullahoma doesn't need bulletin board material to get fired up for this game, should be a good battle with the Eagles pulling out a much needed region win.

Is this just a gut feeling or do you have a basis for this? I think it will be a close game and my nod goes to the home team, of course the home team is my team!

Although only a Sophomore, Hunter Poteete from Dekalb County is an excellent QB. We played them in the summer and he can make all the throws and runs the ball well too. His mind is that of a Sr, making really quick pre-snap reads. He isn't the best yet, but he is a solid D1 prospect, especially with a couple more inches of height on him.
