Elizabethton has no home field advantage. They were 1-4 last season at home. The home side mostly is a society event with most people HA! HA! this HA! HA! that. They could not tell you 5 plays in a game because they do not watch. EHS has the die hards on the visitor side that get loud and tell the coaches from both teams how it is but that is the only problem the visiting team has.

Elizabethton showed some positive things on offense. I worry about all the passing because of their line and if the QB can survive getting hit week after week. On defense we will see I still have my doubts but the next two weeks will tell. Should be a decent game next week and then TN High in two weeks and that is the game that matters.

To doubleplay96 EHS does not have "Nine Lives" and they can try to "Ride the storm out" but DB will "Keep Pushing" and I am sure both teams have some "Tough Guys"but EHS needs to have some "Variety Tonight" Friday with their offense but in the end EHS will be in some "Good Trouble" and then "Back on the road again" and back to "157 Riverside Avenue" after a 35-7 loss. In football "Only the Strong survive."

I am sure a lot of people have missed my greatness on this site. I will go with DB 28-7. Now get on here and bash me because I picked a better team.

No chance at DB just playing the game for money. Most of the kids have not been the problem in the past few years. You can read between the lines if you like.

So I guess no changes in the football staff. I feel like Tim Sylvia is beating on me and I think I will tap out of EHS football. No sense in getting beat down worse. A lot of people know what the problem is but there is nothing we can do about it because the cliq wins.

What players are out? I have said for 2 years the coaching is a joke. It is the buddy system and it does not matter how much time or effort they put in the job. They bring an outsider in for baseball and the team is playing good. They need to bring an outsider in for football. The bunch that is there now to needs to resign because they are stealing people's money everytime they watch EHS play and stealing the kids time. I have never seen the movie The Titanic but everytime I watch EHS football I believe the outcome is the same as the movie.

Two assistants from last year are gone so something has been going on. I have been on here saying my peace for a couple of years and some people have blasted me for my thoughts. I am getting proven correct each passing day, so do not get on here and say stuff without knowing the facts. If football does good I will praise the staff but if the same crap goes on I will blast them. Everyone that knows the program knows some stuff has been swept under the rug because the coaches are friends and when you are in charge you have to have a big boot and when your friends mess up and/or have to many "other" things to do then you need to make changes.

I hope the kids do good and the coaches get there act together. I have more faith and confidence in 16 and 17 year olds than I do in the adults.

I do not know who the AD will be but the rest of that is wrong. Dave Rider is retired he might want to come back in his heart but his mind knows he should stay retired. He would be better than what is going on now because he lived EHS football and you knew there was one voice and it was his. Now you got all the coaches doing their own thing and none of them giving a crap about football. Ryan I have no clue when he gets out of college and Pless is way to nice and gets taken advantage of by different people.I agree why would somebody want the job but it will take someone like Rider to be stubborn and say it is my team and my way and tell all the nay sayers to hit the road. They need to make the kids behave and when they break the law kick them off the team.

If Pless gets the AD job then I heard they want Scott Rider. Basketball and football fans both want changes so whom ever gets the AD job will determine what changes will be made. They can bring in Jimmy Johnson but unless he gets a couple of good coaches to help him it is a no win situation.

I heard Mike Wilson will get the AD job and Len Dugger will take over basketball. So football will remain the same coaching wise.

I know Pless wants the AD job which will come open at the end of this school year. Whomever the coach is needs to bring atleast 2 assistants that are good coaches or they are doomed also.

I have heard that for the past 2 years. When they get to the varsity they stop winning a lot. 5-6 in 05 probably 5-5 in 06. Nothing negative just stating facts.
