  1. The Bucs came out in the first half and looked tense, but come time for second half they were calmed down and they were the teams the we all know and love. I don't know what Coach Akins said at half time, but it worked. Also I would like to comment on the broadcast of the game and set the commentators straight, our quarterback's name is Drew, not "the coach's kid". I believe he has done plenty to prove that he has earned his place on the team. Thank you, and congrats Bucs, great season, great team, great game. And one little side note: DCA's Wooden has my respect, he is hardcore. I've never seen a highschool player attempt to play with a torn MCL. He deserves credit for being tough and fighting through the pain. Good luck next year Wildcats, you have the makings of a great team.
  2. I think he'll have more than 150 yds. he'll at least get into the 200's. And I'll say this once again, DREW LAMB FOR BLUE CROSS BOWL MVP!!!! W00 H00!!!!
  3. I'm still waiting for you to explain this comment Chakra
  4. Chakra, I'd really like for you to explain your comment about William Nelson. I'll agree that he got into the game, very much so in fact, but I don't see how you can make the accusation that he has no class. I'm just curious to see your reasoning behind this
  5. Drew Lamb for Blue Cross Bowl MVP. That's all I have to say.
  6. Boyd will win because of the hard work they've put into building a strong team. An unstoppable offense, good special teams, combined with a very solid defense is what a State Championship team is made of. Bucs win, end of story.
  7. If you want my opinion, Boyd is going to win because we have a well balanced team that can succeed without one or more of our starters. Example being Copper Basin, we had neither Matt Peardon nor Matt Henley, yet we still managed to give them a good thrashing. We don't rely purely on Peardon's speed and amazing moves to win games. Basically it all comes down to depth. If we have one player injured, there are players that can step up and fill the spot and play effectively. I'm predicting a close game but as I stated earlier, Boyd will win, plain and simple. If the running game gets stopped, there's always a good passing game to fall back on. Perry is consistent in hitting his field goals and giving the team good position on kickoffs and punts. And there is the ever lingering threat of the Buccanneer defense that has made many a play to send the ball game in a completely different direction.
