Smyrna has had a tough time stopping the run all year so I would say our pass defense is stronger than our run D. But..... we were able to stop Riverdale's rush when it counted. From what I hear, Smyrna and Ooltewah have a lot in common on offense. We can both kill you with either the run or the pass. Should be a good one and I'm looking forward to it. Does Ooltewah have a mobile QB or is he more of a stay-n-the-pocket type?

I'd personally like to avenge that homecoming loss for Smyrna against Ravenwood but I am in no means looking past Ooltewah whatsoever.

So you're saying that you would get killed by McCallie? Riverdale barely lost to McCallie and would have beat them if not for poor play calling in the end. Smyrna beat Riverdale which was nearly impossible to most people (not me). So theoretically, if Riverdale could beat McCallie and we beat Riverdale, then we should be able to beat McCallie whom you said would kill Ooltewah. Interesting.........

Because that's just how TSSAA made the brackets. I guess because it makes it easier to determine where the playoff games will be.

He definitely deserves it. He is such a tough football player and a great student. Josh is in one of my classes and works pretty hard on his academics. He is the definition of a STUDENT athlete.

I hope they make copies of this game for us to buy.

The ENTIRE Smyrna side was great. Not just the student section but all of the adults and anyone else over their. The only time a sat down was at halftime. We showed them the purple and gold last night baby!!!

Exactly. It feels better than anything in the world to beat them you have no idea. We've got the underrated Raptors on one side and the most "overrated" underDOGS ever on the other. It'll be interesting to see what these cinderellas will do from here on out.

To say it was a badly played game is ludacris. Each team had many opportunities to score but both defenses played strong tonight. There weren't many 3-n-outs in that game maybe a couple. just good hard nose defense in the red zone.

It's a pretty decent size but I don't know what to compare it to. I think it is bigger than Ooltewah's stadium just from looking at those photos on yall's website.

Yea I have always wanted to run onto a field after a game and now I can say that I have. I will remember this for the rest of my life. GO BULLDOGS!!!!!

I told ya so.

But the best play of the game was that victory formation baby!!!! Running onto that field when that clock struck 00.00 was the best feeling for me. I hugged people I had never even talked to before and congratulated every single player. It didn't matter who you were as long as you were a Smyrna Bulldog.
