Man was you even at the game . Smith was clearly the best player on the floor . Tyler drove around Wright easily. Ask Brandon if he ran circles around Tyler. If i could run circles around the best player on the floor and I was taller than everyone on the floor then I would definately have more than twenty points and I would have been able to score in the last 2 minutes of a very close game to give my team the win.Scrappy , you say that he is not as tall as listed well Wright must not be either because he is listed at 6'9in. and Smith is listed at 6'6in. and Wright is only maybe 2to 2.5in taller than Smith so you do the math. Wright is a beter mid range shooter than Smith but thats about it .

I took nothing from Brandon Wright but it speaks for itself , He never shot the ball in the last 2minutes and twenty seconds and he is the best player on the team .

That guy must be kin to him or something . I am not downing Zach Holt , he plays the best he can for his size and speed but clearly Coffey deserves to be in the starting line up , no question.

Brandon Wright is agood ball player now but he is on the verge of being great . He is practically unstoppable down low the only chance you have is not to let him get it down low which Tyler Smith did a good job of when he guarded him . Tyler Smith is the same way but he has a little bit more , he is able to create off the dribble . He has great handles and is very quick . Both guys played agreat game last night and both have great futures ahead of them.

This man needs some help bad . If he can't see that Channing Coffey is better than Zach Holt then he needs someone high up to tell him otherwise . Coffey is probrably the second best player on the team . He kept them in the game last night (what little time he was out there on the floor). As soon as Coffey made a mistake Holt would take him out even after he made up for his mistakes by playing great defense. Coffey is the key to Giles County winning another state championship , I just hope by then Coach Holt will be done figured it out . After the game last night , Coach Holt should be getting a clue .

I don't know about them being better that's a little bit far but they are most not definately overrated . They will beat BA easily . As I said earlier in the season Giles County won last year on talent alone but this year the coach has got to step up and make the right decisions he has got to win some for them.

He did not do a good job as a matter of fact he made a call that was right in front of him and a ref on the other side of the floor had to come and correct him.

Like I said in an early season post Channing Coffey is the answer to what the Bobcats problem is . The coach has got to see now that Channing needs alot more playing time . Wneely you are right a sixty something year old man has no business refereeing a game with 16and17 year olds. Dron Garrett is also a key but he gets hardly any playing time, the coach needs to open his eyes up .

I am like gomab I want a kid on my team that is lazy and has no heart for the game. Maybe he will play for me.

I have no problem with you ranking anyone #1 or # whatever all I was saying is that you tend to get on here and down the" KID " a whole lot . And you say that you just ranked him #2 because of ALL the publicity he is getting (why is he getting all of the publicity) I guess the public knows talent when they see it .

It's funny to me how everyone is quick to down this KID . Ask any highschool coach or college for that matter and I bet they have heard of Tyler Smith. Ask any team that he has played against if they would want him on their team and i bet they would . Gomab Jamont is your #1 junior this month ,he has not always been , you just recently jumped on his bandwagon. It's strange to me how Gomab is always quick to down Tyler ' what has he done to you.

Channing Coffey has pneumonia

I agree with you krogers, the bobcats were tired and wore out . I don'y know how Coach Holt plans on Winning state with just six players. Channing should be starting every game and Deron Garrett is a waste of talent sitting on the bench. Ibelieve one of the momentum changers for the bobcats was when the refs called a foul on Tyler at the three point line and the Bradley player kept on going to the basket and the refs gave him the points on the continuation. I think this was one of the worst calls that I have seen .Not to mention that Giles came down and did the same thing but did not get the continuation.

I can't understand how anyone can say that Tyler abandoned his team to me it was the other way around . If tyler would not have stepped up like he did it would have been a blow out . Tyler practically had the team on his shoulders. it is so funny to me how someone always has something bad to say about Tyler Smith. He was by far the best player on the floor just ask the players on Bradley Central or the coach and i bet they will tell you that Tyler was the best player on the court.Unfortunately this is a team game and one player can't win every game. Like I said at the beginning of tha year Channing Coffey is one of the best untapped talents on the Bobcat's team. He always brings so much energy on the floor. Some other players need to step up and perform to their potential.

Jmsballa33 I read the other thread on here about the Delks and you stated that the Delks are overrated but on this thread you put Reginald Delk as one of the two best juniors in the state ahead of the "overrated" Tyler smith as you would have it . Make up your mind .

Great post tiredbbmom I am glad to see someone giving Giles County some credit . I was unable to go to the game but krogers I agree with you , that was a no brainer on Coach Holt's part . He should be focusing on the Bradley Central game instead of letting Tyler and rest of the starters build their stats up.

Twinkledinkle 0000 you will be smoking on something when Giles County beats Bradley . Nobody cares who comes in second, because we all know that second place is the first loser, all that matters is who wins it all and Giles County did just that back in March...

krazytinkle0000 we will just have to wait and see but be sure I will bring this post back up Saturday at about 10:00 with Giles County being the winner.Tyler Smith by himself will be too much for Bradley to handle. Just say no to drugs.
