can anyone tell me who decides or has input on who is chosen for the all region tournament team. the reason i am asking is because creshawn holt was robbed last night at the regional tournament between giles county and pearl cohn . he did'nt even make the all regional team !!

And for Coffey blocking Wright's elbow , if that was true then why did the ball never leave Wright's hand, if Coffey hit his elbow then the ball would have still went somewhere , wouldn't it ? thumb

I wasn't going to say this but you forced me to . In both of these meetings of the two teams Smith played way better than Wright(not their teams just the individuals). I would take Smith over Wright right now hands down! To say that Wright is bigger and better is totally wrong Wright is neither of the two he is just taller that's all . thumb

Why are we debating if Wright blocked Smith's shot , he is supposd to, the guy is 6'9 about 3 in. taller than Smith . What you are not supposed to see is a 6'4 guy (channinng coffey) block a 6'9 guy (brandon wright). I know people will argue because the refs called a foul but the only reason they done that was because they couldn't believe it either. Great game by both teams. thumb

Tyler ain't going to be draining any three's. His outside game is a JOKE!!! Wade and his pep club buddies might try and convince me that Tyler has improved his shot, but the fact is that I don't believe those guys. It's funny... I don't recall Wright fouling out on their two losses to Giles county. He played the WHOLE ENTIRE game and they still LOST. Everybody Knows if Smith would not have fouled out then Giles would have won even MR. Wright (according to his comments in Tennessean) thumb

The only defense to play on Wright is to deny him the ball so with that said Tyler played great defense on him. Smith was clearly the most dominating of the two last night . While Wright might have scored more points the last 7-10 was when Smith had fouled out.The only thing that stopped Smith last night were the refs (I mean only one of the refs were making all the charging and pitty-pat fouls against Smith , he was the same one that was laughing and talking to the Brentwood girls and boys during warm-ups). Without a doubt if Smith would not have fouled out Giles would have won.And that's 4 real thumb

In my opinion it will probrably come down to who has the better coach and BA most definately has the advantage there. thumb

Giles played bad against Wilson Central but if they hit half of their free throws it would not have been close . I hate to blame any loss on the refs but anyone there saw how they called the game against Giles when they played Beech and Wilson central. I would love to see how it would have came out if it was called different . Don't get me wrong Wilson Central played with a lot of heart and that dunk at the end was tremendous ! I repeat I would love to have seen it if it was called right. thumb

Not really, he scored whenever he wanted to even with the whole team collapsing down on him. thumb

Like I said last year , Talent will win you some games but coaching has got to win the rest . Giles county was almost coached out of a win by Father Ryan's coach . Tyler's talent won this game for Giles that's all . Somebody needs to tell Channing Coffey to just play his game and not worry about coach holt , he can't afford to keep him on the bench too long . Why does Coach Holt ride Channing so much ? He has him scared to do anything with the ball for fear of getting yelled at or pulled out of the game. Channing is way too good to be playing the way he has been playing. Tryce is doing a great job and he knows it, he is not afraid to shoot the ball . He has great ball handling skills and is just an all around good player . He is the future of Giles County after Tyler leaves. Giles Co. has great shooters on the team if Coach Holt would give them the greenlight to shoot but they are scared to. They have the potential to be very good but they need more confidence out there on the floor not just from Tyler and Tryce.

Catfish-hunter don't hate on Tyler's game just appreciate it . All you do is try to criticize Tyler on his outside shot even when you hear ALOT of people saying that his outside shot has improved alot . When will you be satisfied? thumb
