Now that you know how the Fayette vs DCA game went, do you think that luck is anything but the reason DCA is in the finals?

unbiasedspectator thinks that region 5 owns the football world. I would like to see if DCA or anyone in Region 5 wants to tangle with Fayette Academy again?

I was there, front and center. Yes, there was incredible and unmistakable home cooking for the almighty region 5. I have seen the game film, and DCA's limping drive to the goal line was given life support by the refs in an attempt to keep Region 5 in the playoffs. All calls were on 4th down after failed plays. #1 was a pass interference call on Bodiford when he was two steps in front of the receive, and the ball was errantly thrown in the dirt 12 yds in front of the receiver. This was the worst blatant call I have ever seen. We saw it over and over on the film. This should be reviewed by whoever reviews these things. The second call was a phantom face mask call. The running back was wrapped up low by #51 Brandon Church. A 15 yd facemask call on 4th and 7 gave them a first and goal at the 9, instead of being stopped on 4th down for no gain for the second time in a row. I haven't seen a 15 yd facemask all season long. It was completely convenient to be able to call that last night. Do I sound like a bitter Fayette Academy fan? I must, but we tasted the win last night and DCA knows that if they do win the state game, that they really played it last night.

DCA will win without Meacham or Wooden, if they bring the same refs that they had last night at the Fayette game. Fayette had to play the refs and the home team last night. I do not think that Boyd, SP, CPA, or DCA has ever played a team as tough as Fayette. Boyd please beat DCA. I am so sick and tired of the pomp and snobbery of Reg 5. You are not that good. DCA's almighty defense that was supposed to make a mockery of Fayette Academy was quite blemished last night in a battle that they are so tickled to have come away the winner with their last drive that was on life support with the help of the guys in black. I have seen the game film and it was sickening to see an errant pass hit the ground 12 yards in front of a receiver and Bodiford called for pass interference while he was running 2 yds ahead of the sprinting receiver who had no possibility of catching the ball. This was 4th down. I am baffled, except to think that all involved think that Region 5 should own this event. I know that DCA knows who the better team was last night!

Not only do the Vikings have Bodiford, Thomas, and Feathers, but do not overlook or forget that Fayette also has Wes Kennedy. He is one of the top coaches in the State in any classification. He has created a mental toughness in this team unlike any I have seen. The Vikings have a heart to win, and that cannot be measured in pounds or past state championships. Vikings by 3 touchdowns and by that I mean 24, since the Vikings go for 2 everytime. BTA
