  1. I just wanted to start this thread and tell all the seniors that made all region congratulations!! A special congrats to #65, Adam Clemons on Defensive MVP, to #71 Kevin Centers on Offensive MVP and to #20 Josh Hudson on MVP! Congratulations to any of the other boys from Region 4-AAA that made it. Anyone from other towns reading this put up a post and let us know who from your teams made it! MC Fans, if there is someone special you want to congratulate or brag on...go for it! That being said, all of us (I am guilty, too) have been mentioning the seniors and key players. There are two very important members of this team that we have all left out and I would like to take this opportunity to tell them how valuable they have been to the team. So, Shawn Sadler and Anthony Moss, Senior Managers, thank you for all the hard work you have put in over the years!! I know alot of people overlook you guys. You have worked just as hard on the sidelines!!! Where would the boys in pads be without you guys bringing them water, towels, and fixing equipment when it breaks in the middle of the game?!?! I am just as proud of you two as of any of the boys that are on the playing field ( I know you are both out there in heart ). If the managers had an all region award, you could add two more of our seniors to the list: Good job Shawn and Anthony!!!!!
  2. I just wanted to say that I agree with everything that has been said on this thread. Men, I am so proud of all of you. Everyone keeps naming the seniors and like they do, I have a few special ones, too. To #33 Law, watching you play is pure excitement ecspecially the way you get the crowd into the game. To #58 your heart and strength are amazing, I have watched you grow from 6 months up and I am so proud of you. To # 61 J.B. What can I say:Block that kick...LOL You are like one of my own. To #65 Adam, your intensity can be felt in the stands!! You just mow 'em down. BTW, thanks for that sack on my birthday and for all that you have given! To #71 Kevin, I have known you since kindergarten and watched you since Pee Wee. You are definitely no slug. You have came a long way and accomplished much...clap...clap...clap...this is me giving a standing ovation...LOL. To all the senior players: Congratulations and I will miss you ALL!! With all the seniors being mentioned, I think we ( I am guilty, too ) have forgotten to mention two of them. That would be Shawn Sadler and Anthony Moss. These boys have been with the rest of the seniors since at least Jr. High and most since before that. Shawn can't play because of his asthma and Anthony can't play because of his hip. They are on that field in heart and spirit, though, and they have worked just as hard on the sidelines. Where would the seniors and other players be without these two boys to bring them water, towels and fix equipment when it breaks in the middle of a game?!?! So, to the senior managers: Shawn "Little Daddy" Sadler and Anthony "Big Daddy" Moss, I salute you both. You have done and excellent job for the Tigers over the years. I am just as proud of you two boys as I am anyone in pads!!! Congratulations and Good Luck to you both!!
  3. To pigeons4life, kwalker, msmoker, and others: I just want to congratulate you all on your win again. You guys have an awesome team. I made a post Friday night after the game commenting on how rude the fans and concession workers were. And while true that some of the fans and the concession workers were rude, after talking with some more parents and Tiger fans, I must apologize. My family and I were sitting almost on the 50, so we were in a nest of Falcons. The people around us were very polite. Also, sorry about the seat encroachment, didn't know the unwritten rule and the seats weren't marked off specifying where to sit. It was the fans from Fulton that were on the end of the bleachers next to concessions and bathrooms that were so rude. From what I hear though, some of the Tiger fans were nothing to brag on that night either. I don't know about your locker room, if it was trashed, I apologize. I have a son on the team, a senior. He has always admitted his wrong-doings to me and took his punishments. He said it wasn't him or any of his closest friends. That said, I just want to say again, I apologize, Congratulations, Good luck, and to let you know that I, my son, and several of his friends (more senior members of the Tigers) will be there Saturday cheering you on! Look for us in one of the sky boxes (I am sure it will be a sea of Tiger Blue...LOL). Come by and see us...would love to shake your hand and congratulate you in person.....Take home the Gold and GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Well said demonchild. I agree. Not to mention MC's #65 made defensive MVP: all region. Of course #71 was offensive co-MVP: all region. Then again we had 6 other seniors that mad all region, including #20 Josh Hudson MVP!!!!!
  5. Just want to tell the boys how proud I am of them! You had a great season. To the seniors, it won't be the same next year. I will miss you guys. I have watched you all grow up and have had most if not all of you in my home many times. Good luck with your futures in whatever you do and remember, I AM PROUD OF YOU!!! To the underclassmen, I may not have anyone on the team for another 8 or 9 years now, but I will still be there cheering you guys on, as I have since I was 7 years old. You have some mighty big shoes to fill. Put all your heart into it and you will accomplish much. Follow the example that this year's leaders have set for you. Congratulations to all, good luck, and I love you all!
  6. well i would just like to say congrats to the tigers on a great season!!! they worked hard and went futher than any other team has in MC. its sad thats its over but we got beat by the better team and there is no shame in that. i look foward to watching the games next year on my visits home from college. i will miss being part of the team. GO TIGERS !!!! 2003 REGION 4-AAA CHAMPS
  7. Fanman, you stand corrected! Every team we played EXCEPT Westmoreland was a 3A football team! Westmoreland was the ONLY 2A team we played! If you are going to give information on us, please have your facts straight. If you can't do that, keep quiet, cause then you are telling lies on us.
  8. I have a mixed post for you guys. First I would like to tell my Tigers how proud I am of them!!!!! You will all always be champions to me!!!!! Second, I would like to say congratulations to Fulton. The better team won. I make no excuses for our boys, tonight just wasn't their night. I also want to wish Fulton good luck in the 'Boro. I, for one, will be rootin' for yall. There is one problem I would like to address. While what you all from Fulton said about your football team was true, the rest was not. Courtesy, respect, politeness, and manners are the exception rather than the rule (in Fulton community)!!!!! The concession stand workers were very short with alot of Macon Co. visitors. Several chants of disrespect could be heard, such as, "Leave!" and "Go Home!". Here is another good one, "Where is your football team, where are the Tigers?". There are others I cannot repeat on this thread and still keep it clean! Here is the topper, one of the Fulton players was walking to the field after half-time. He was looking straight at me and kept walking, running right into me and elbowing me in the side! He did not try to avoid me, did not say excuse me or apologize! If this is people's idea of class, respect, and hospitality in the city, I will keep my redneck #$* in the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, since MCHSTigerPride is right beside me, he wanted me to let you all know that he 110% shares my point of view!!!!!
  9. Hey AERoadrunner, you are more than welcome to sit with us Tigers. You can't miss us. It will be a sea of blue white and black. Glad to have ya! msmoker21, if you think we don't have any size, it is you that has been misinformed. With names like Tank, Rhyno, and Big Ugly, they have those names for a reason. Boys that can squat over 500 pounds and bench over 350 generally aren't too little! Talk about handling pressure situations...look at the last 2 minutes of our last 2 games! I won't even begin to discuss heart and determination! Your team may have something to prove from last year....we have something to prove from the last 20 years!!!!!! Continue to be history makers and record breakers Tigers! GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. P.S. AERoadrunner, Our secondary coverage is H-O-T.........HOT!!!!!!!
  11. Hello AERoadrunners, I can tell you now, no matter the outcome, it WILL be worth your $7.00! This Tiger team has an amazing amount of heart and determination! Our center, #65 Adam Clemons played 7 or 8 games last year with a cast on one arm nearly to his shoulder and still had over a hundred tackles! Never missed a game! Our boys are very hard hitters. It is true that we have a stronger defense, but there is nothing to complain about on our offense either! By the way, that same player, #65 plays defense to and holds the school track record for the 40!! All in all, we are a very well rounded team. I have been watching these boys since Pee Wee, I should know! If you enjoy good football, like me, no matter who is playing, you DEFINETLY won't mind spending $7.00! Have to go now, our boys are leaving at 4:00 pm CST and we are all lining up along the bypass to see them off with cheers. Thanks for your interest. And as always GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!
  12. I would just like people to know that I am not jumping on the bandwagon, I graduated MCHS in 1985 and have been supporting the Tigers, win or lose, since I was 7 years old. I would like to tell the Falcon Fans that have been so respectful and helpful on here (the directions and stadium info)......THANK YOU SO MUCH. I really appreciate it. I am looking forward to the trip to your cold but fair city...LOL. And although I am wishing my Tiger team good luck, I will wish BOTH teams a SAFE injury free game. I am sure it will be a hard fought, fair, and great game! I must recognize my senior boys though, so here goes, a special prayer and best wishes to : #12 Lukas Smith, #14 Kitrell "Golden Foot" Smith, #18 Jacob York, #20 Josh "Buff" Hudson, #33 Jacob "Big Ugly" Law, #38 Eric Binion, #50 Derrick Gann, #58 Ryan "Rhyno" Evetts, #61 Jonathan "J.B." Biggs, #65 Adam "Sack Man" Clemons, #68 Wes Hancock, #71 Kevin Centers, #76 Brian "Tank" Allen, #85 Chad Watson, Mgr. Shawn Sadler, and last but by no means least...LOL, Mgr. Anthony "Big Daddy" Moss!!!!!!! We love you all and The TIGERS will always be champions to us. Get Some! 1, 2, 3......Hit Somebody! History Makers and Record Breakers! Let's take it to the 'Boro Boys!!!!!!
  13. As for the equation on kinetic energy, you have had your science lesson, here is a lesson in common sense: If you have a corvette traveling at 60 mph and it collides head on with a MAC truck traveling at 40 mph, who will come out on top???!!! I guess your science equation then flies out the window, along with the driver of the corvette, huh?........GET SOME!!!! GOOD LUCK TIGERS!!!!!!
