down year in talent? Good gosh, I hate to see it when it was an up year. If next season is an up year in talent, then pencil them in to play Maryville again.

I don't know anything about the situation that you are referring to when you talk about the restaurant, but it explains my sayings to a T!!! Why would he give a bad opinion of the coach when you just told me the seniors were the problem. It has been my experience that whenever a coaching change is made, it is up to the seniors to get on board with the new coach. If they don't, you have problems. I guess that is what happened here. I'm out and don't know that I will worry about this anymore. I just don't like people calling out coaches that are trying to work hard.

I don't know why you guys are getting on to me? all I did was defend another coach on this website and you guys would think that I said something against the president. The kicker dude was out of line talking trash about a coach on here when he has probably not been to one practice to even defend his statements. You know I haven't been to one of their practices either and that is why I don't get on here and say bad things about decisions made during a playoff game that either team could have won. I still do not see where his so called discipline problems would have made them get the onside kick and go on to win state. ( I am only quoting kicker dude) Let's make a deal. You stick to kicking and I'll stick to my team and we won't worry about your Franklin team anymore. I won't have time and I would assume that you won't have time either.

Glad to see this. I am a huge VOL fan and if we are going to get beat like we did last year, then I would at least like to see us have in state players on the field.

I won't believe it until it actually happens. This comes up every year and I think deep down you guys just want him gone because region 4 can't beat Riverdale. Although not many can beat Riverdale

I agree with what you are saying, but it just sounded like people were going in the direction of calling the new guy out because he let go a couple of guys. Who cares what race they were. I'm sure he will hire what he needs to be best for the school or they wouldn't have hired him.

You kind of make me laugh. At one minute you are critiscizing coaches and blaming them for not practicing and not watching film and for some reason you are worried about this guy's stretching, and the next minute you are blaming the seniors themselves. You have no point other than to critisize. As a coach myself, I root for the coaches that are getting dogged by the fans, because the fans usually don't know crap!!

How long will this one go on? Can anyone make a decision? Why put deadlines if you are not going to stick to them. Just open the job and choose a coach when you want to, but put that in the description.

I am a football coach and I get on here and read about gossip and crap from time to time. I also like to put my 2cents worth every once in awhile. I coach in Middle Tennesse but I like to read about all of Tennessee. What do you mean by "changes that are not benefiting the team"? I guess it is none of my business, but I always question people when they make bold statements. I even question ole catfish when he gets on to coaches at other schools. So, what do you mean?
